For the price, you could probably have just two people living here or a couple and use the middle (small) room as an office. Love the 2 bathrooms and en-suite laundry, as well the finishes
If there were only 2 roommates, I’d use the front room as the living room and the open space off the kitchen as dining area. Each room would have their own bathroom, But as a 3 roommate sitch, it works. Love the finishes, room #2 is my fave too. Of course I’m a sucker for exposed brick.
This is SUCH a steal!! I feel like this is really a two-bedroom. The wall that separates the little “bedroom” and the living room looks like it was put up later. Love the finishes!!! And that little window above the stove! Would be so much easier to air out the cooking smell!
The second bedroom is my favorite too... Just gorgeous with tons of charm. Love all the updates to the kitchen and bathroom, the in house laundry and the price point is perfect
I liked this apartment a lot, I laughed at the wine fridge in the tiny kitchen....I would probably use it as a pantry/food storage since it doesn't have much of that. Love the laundry and updated kitchen/bathrooms. My preference for the bedrooms based on the order you showed them are 2, 1, 3.
Look I came down here to see who else wondered where they would put food and dishes. The cabinets over the fridge and stove are too high to be everyday storage for me.
I have to say you do a great job engaging the viewers with breath taking edits of the surrounding area before we even enter the apartment . your channel is on another level Cash !!!
I’d do it as a 2 bedroom apartment. $1500 rent gets the bigger bedroom and choice of bath (I’d take the one without a tub). $1200 for smaller room and other bathroom. The living room becomes a dining room and additional kitchen storage since that was sorely lacking. The third bedroom becomes the living room. I think it’s really beautiful but I wouldn’t do 3 people with the TINY kitchen/living space.
Wow,this apartment property is really good, not only because it is affordable for a 3 bed apartment in NYC,it is also because it is modern and nice with 3 beds and 2 baths. Impressive👍😀,I love it!
I keep seeing the cooking stoves right against the to walls and the refrigerator right up against the other side. Pots and pans have handles so you would have to turn them inward . For the prices you should be able to use the whole 4 burners.
New York apartments are amazing in that they have tried to fit in as many bedrooms, i.e. renters, as possible. If this were in any other city, there would be no wall between the kitchen/dining room area and the so-called 3rd bedroom would be the living room. Then it would be a nice, fairly spacious 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. It still could be here with only 2 renters, each paying only $1,350 in a very nice location. Love your videos!
I had the same thought. If you remove the wall between the kithcen area and the front bedroom you would have a lovely. spacious and wel lit living room/dining room area.
I am glad to know that their indeed is affordable apts with neat layouts in Manhattan, as I was told differently which got me so sad and made me think it would never be possible you give me hope to find a new home after all. Everything in this apt is what I wish for💙😫🙏🏡
Great apartment, great videography, great narration...you do a fantastically fine job my friend. I really enjoyed the energy which with you put this together and what's not to like about that stainless and all those windows. I've never been a fan of NYC and I would rent that place without hesitation. Looking forward to checking out more of your content.
i love that neighborhood. I looked at an old brownstone apartment many years ago on lenox and 110th one block from the subway. TONS of restored historic details. It was massive - a 2br one bath. This place was stunning. This was 18 years ago though - at the time the rent was 1400 total. Central park was right there and that section of the park was just gorgeous. To this day i still regret not taking that apartment but my roomate was uncomfortable with the neighborhood back then.
That is a very nice apartment! I like the 2nd bedroom and 2nd bathroom the most. Never seen a tiny window like the one above the stove before. That's kind of cute!
Love it!! Ill never get over the wine fridges in these tiny kitchen. I love wine as much as the rest of them and have a mini collection... even I wouldn’t do a wine fridge in such a small kitchen. Anyway it’s stunning!
There is no natural light in the livingroom. The only light it gets is a side window that loses light swiftly or the bedroom door if left open so no privacy and that idiot interior window up high on the bedroom wall to steal light from the bedroom.
Yeah. no natural light in the livingroom sucks but hey, it's manhattan. the laundry itself is a good catch already. plus the kitchen is small but has a full size updated appliances. it ain't perfect but a good apt for manhattan.
Beautiful. I could better imagine a couple living there. The livingroom really a dining room. The first bedroom you showed the livingroom.....the second bedroom you showed the bedroom for couple, and the tiny bedroom an office or reading nook, exercise room, whatever. That would be sweeter at that price for a working couple. 😁
Bedroom 2 hands down is the best. It is nice and bright but could easily be darkened so you could sleep in. It is also a good size. This apartment feels like it would actually be really nice for a family with a kid of kids (possibly better than for roommates).
Love it! If my partner and I moved in there, I think we'd use the biggest bedroom as ours, the one next to it as the guest room and the room by the living room as an office. I love the little dishwasher under the sink! I agree with another poster about the wine cooler, though! How many people really need that? I'm a red girl, myself ;)
I need that. 😉 A red wine should not be stored at 86° F in summer, that's why a wine cooler is the right choice. It has different climate zones to store even red wine properly.
Oh my gosh, the bathrooms! 😍😍😍 They are so nice! Of course, my favorite room is the largest one, but it’s kind of frustrating the amount of closet space they give you in the two smaller rooms, considering there may not be enough space for a dresser or other storage furniture. But overall, I’d say this apartment is a win, anything with in unit laundry gets five starts from me!! Love this, Cash!!
I agree with some of the others about using that front room as the living room/office instead of a bedroom. Putting in wine coolers when the kitchen is so small just makes me shake my head, lol. A pull out trash receptacle would have been more practical. Overall the apartment looks fresh, updated, and that stacked washer and dryer is such a bonus. A good price for two people at $1350.00 each per month. Nice find, Cash.
Once I seen the title, I was like Ooh he's Uptown.... What I didn't expect is the look of the interior of the building from the outside. Then the apartment itself is dope! This was renovated by the Gods!! I prefer the 2nd room also. Great find!!
I would take the apartment for myself (no roomates please!) turn the bedroom next to the LR into an office and remove the door for flow. One thing to note is that there doesn't seem to be any place to install and AC in the LR. NY summers are suffocating, so an AC is a must.
I think the second room is my favorite also I love how he walked into the nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen and said “this isn’t bad”😂 love your videos you gained a subscriber!
Thank you for making these videos. Though I don't live in USA, these videos are still very helpful because it has given me lots of knowledge about apartment hunting. And also real estate. Keep making more videos.
This is a best case scenario if you were looking for a home office. That apartment is very charming and that neighborhood is awesome. Another great find Cash!!
Hi Cash. You always find some gems to share and this place is clean and nicely updated. I like the recessed lighting and all of the new appliances in the kitchen. I would want to have more counter space in the kitchen but for the price per month you can’t beat this place.
Fantastic space at a fantastic price. I'd rent it as a 2 BR and keep the smallest room for storage/an office. What floor is it on and is there an elevator? An added location perk is Costco, Aldi's, Target, Bob's Furniture, Old Navy and more stores all in the same mall not too far away.
Nice apartment with very good features and price. Also, good location. Just across the street you have the 5th Ave bus heading South and on nearby Lexington Ave, the # 6. Take a crosstown or walk across the park to the West Side through 125th St in Harlem where you'll find shopping and good restaurants.... keep walking and you'll end up by Columbia U. and Riverside Park by the Hudson. Also, in the East side by the river you have Costco and Aldi where you have great shopping deals, and Spanish Harlem, with great restaurants.
A very chic and modern apartment. It's still vacant because the people who truly deserve to live in this beautiful/affordable apartment have yet to find it.
A very doable apartment to live in, and the area is a nice one (would have been a bit sketchy decades ago, but nowadays it is a lovely residential area and indeed super close to Central Park and to great shopping - once Corona moved to Pluto - just a short walk away to 125th street). For roommates, there can be a small table flush with the sink on the 'living room side' to help with seating, and it could be moved to allow seating around it when there's a dinner party or something). A small couch and you got yourself a nice little living area. The larger bedroom in the back is my favorite, too, though the front bedroom is fine, as well. The smaller bedroom can work as an office for one of 2 roommates (or a double office for both, if these are roommates who both work from home). At $1350, it would still be super cheap, especially when one also has WORK space at home (rather than paying for any office space someplace). I can also see this working for a family, with a child's bedroom in the smaller room, and a living room in the front room and a comfortable dining area by the kitchen. Nicely appointed and would be hard pressed to find a 3 room apartment in this price range for a family anyplace in Manhattan (outside of perhaps Washington Heights). Nice work, Cash!
this is the most comfortable apartment at an amazing price range if you and your friends working in manhattan and planning to share an apartment!! *periodt
@@CashJordan I love all the light and how it is just off the living room. If I didn't need to use it as a bedroom, it would make such a bright, cheery office.
Fantastic place,,, 2 bathrooms is a major plus,,and of course my favorite feature..is on site laundry, I'm in agreement,, that 2nd bedroom is the best!
Great deal! The kitchen is small for 3 adults, I can see 2 people splitting the rent and using one of the bedrooms as a living room, and the living room as a dining room, or a couple renting for the extra space, maybe a family with a small child.
when i saw your face i clicked even without reading the title :) i would use it as a 2 bedroom and the third one in the front can be the living room, the kitchen cabinets are so limited and that wine cooler looks like a waste of space to me, they could use it as a cabinet, but if the living room is having just a dining room i would put some extra storage there. i love the space btw
That’s a great deal! But I never know why they think people need a dishwasher when there aren’t even cabinets to hold the dishes, smh. The wine fridges in small apartments will always be ridiculous to me
I lived here back in 2017-2018. (16 E 116th Street Apt 2C). We paid 3295 for the 3 bedroom, it was a great apartment... BUT it was stuffy as hell and super dark. You basically lived in a box.. and 116th street is very busy & LOUD. you’ll have cars/trucks waking you up at 4/5am. The management for this building wasn’t the best either. We also had a water bug issue 2 or 3 different occasions.
Yeahh... if you are coming for vacations here yes it s amazing... but living here... not so good hahaha... @CashJordan would you hire me so I can move to NYC ??? I've seen all your videos soo believe me at this point I could be a GOOD realtor haha 😅🙌
It's a beautiful apartment. I'm familiar with the area and understand why some people won't move into the area. East Harlem isn't the most desirable, crime rates are high, there's a ton of public housing surrounding (hence the price), and (for families) the public zoned schools are poorly funded and poorly rated. For Hunter College students, this might work great as it's along the 6-line, but in terms of safety, I would proceed with caution.
This is gorgeous! ❤️ ❤️❤️ Agree with you there’s nothing like Central Park! You don’t need a gym; walking, running, biking..and plenty of my NYC weakness- exposed brick! - also bright with tons of windows!! Would make the 2nd b/r an office/art room. . Plenty of room in the 2nd & love the standing closets.. can get the built in look at ...IKEA! They have great ones 😄 .. wouldn’t need 3 people, I think I like the 1st bedroom; like the city noise (oddly comforting) I like the 2nd also & yes, the view with trees. The quirky shape is awesome right next to my b/r. 3rd a guest room. Could sooo see myself here!! Great find!!! Another decorator’s dream & so many window & light- plants, plants, plants👍👍👍 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️! (Oh great bathrooms & and advantage over EV/ no greeeeen marble!😂)- to me everywhere is doable w/public trans. (don’t have where I live & driving here is stressful- lots of bad drivers). Car w/ ins one less huge expense can rent one if you want to drive out of Manhattan..awesome price! Like color of walls (look light grey?) As opposed to white- love it! ❤️❤️❤️
You didn't used the word "massive" even once! I like this one even though it's probably on the fourth floor. It actually has a usable living area! The kitchen, though nicely equipped, has almost no counter space, though a wheeled island would help for food prep. Does everyone in NYC drink wine? With space at a premium that cooler is a waste, especially when you have a full-sized fridge. Having in-unit laundry is a huge plus. That small window in your favorite bedroom would be the perfect spot for the a/c unit. One virtue of this and the smallest bedroom is the proximity to the bathrooms - handy when a roommate has guests in the living room. Closet space is pretty tight in all the bedrooms, though it would work for three minimalists or nudists. A queen bed in the smallest room would be a squeeze, and its sole window would be partly blocked by an a/c. Am I misinterpreting the map to think that subway lines 2 and 3 have a station just two blocks west? Subway access to the workplace/school might be the only downside to this apartment, as it seems to be within walking distance to stores - and to Central Park. In general, roommates in Manhattan shared apartments usually have to pay over $1,000 each, and no matter how they'd divvy the rent here, at least a couple of them would pay less than a thousand. That's a bargain! Maybe worth having to change trains to get to work.
this is insane for the location and price...and it's nice looking too! everything's full sized and washer dryer and dishwasher?? and it's so modern and renovated.. im shook! this would even be cheap for toronto...
Cash you keep on doing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a GREAT apt and I cannot believe the rent. The rental market must be extremely slow for this apt to be at this price pt. LOVE the kitchen and I would take the bedroom off the livingroom. I like the view of the street and its a good size. The bathrooms are beautiful. I wonder when the rental market gets better if this apt will be increased to its market value. Or is there rent control in that area? WONDERFUL FIND CASH THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For the price, you could probably have just two people living here or a couple and use the middle (small) room as an office. Love the 2 bathrooms and en-suite laundry, as well the finishes
Yep it’s definitely affordable by NYC standards
Agreed. This could even work for a small family.
That's probably the best apartment according to the price range and this is just lovely ❤️
Hey glad you like this one
I agree,it really is good
If there were only 2 roommates, I’d use the front room as the living room and the open space off the kitchen as dining area. Each room would have their own bathroom,
But as a 3 roommate sitch, it works. Love the finishes, room #2 is my fave too. Of course I’m a sucker for exposed brick.
Because that's what it really is. The front room was the living room.
@@Myraisins1 Yes, indeed. It was what it was intended in the past. The small bedroom used to be for a child. 😁
Great idea..
Fantastic way to use the space
@@Myraisins1 exactly. I would even remove the wall and just have a large LR where you can install an AC.

Yep the laundry kills it
I would rent this place in a heartbeat. my gosh the price is a steal. perfect.
It’s almost a crime not to rent it

I keep seeing the cooking stoves right against the to walls and the refrigerator right up against the other side. Pots and pans have handles so you would have to turn them inward . For the prices you should be able to use the whole 4 burners.
I noticed that as well. Plus refrigerators don't do well directly next to an oven/stove.
That’s the best apartment kitchen you’ve ever shown us, great looking, doesn’t take up wall space, perfect!
And to think it came from the cheapest 3br of all time
Wow, for the price point this is definitely one of the best you’ve shown!!!!

Glad you like the same room as me!
this is the most comfortable apartment at an amazing price range if you and your friends working in manhattan and planning to share an apartment!! *periodt
I love this place. That front bedroom is my favorite.
Ohh what makes it your fav just wondering?
@@CashJordan I love all the light and how it is just off the living room. If I didn't need to use it as a bedroom, it would make such a bright, cheery office.
Fantastic place,,, 2 bathrooms is a major plus,,and of course my favorite feature..is on site laundry, I'm in agreement,, that 2nd bedroom is the best!
For sure in unit laundry
Best apartment you’ve shown us!
Good deal for sure. So well priced
That be good Apartment for 2 people use the fount bedroom as the living the room by the kitchen as the dining room each would have there own washroom
Great deal! The kitchen is small for 3 adults, I can see 2 people splitting the rent and using one of the bedrooms as a living room, and the living room as a dining room, or a couple renting for the extra space, maybe a family with a small child.
Yep very small that’s for sure
Love the music..and those keys!!!!
👍👍👍🔑
That back bedroom is great. You could have your bed by that window... or have a nice desk set up with a nice view of the trees.
Yep great ideas for the layout
I really enjoy your videos. Thank You!
when i saw your face i clicked even without reading the title :)
i would use it as a 2 bedroom and the third one in the front can be the living room, the kitchen cabinets are so limited and that wine cooler looks like a waste of space to me, they could use it as a cabinet, but if the living room is having just a dining room i would put some extra storage there.
i love the space btw
Haha awesome i’m glad you liked the video and decided to watch
That’s a great deal! But I never know why they think people need a dishwasher when there aren’t even cabinets to hold the dishes, smh. The wine fridges in small apartments will always be ridiculous to me
Lol. Yes seems kinda counter intuitive
We also had a water bug issue 2 or 3 different occasions.
ugh water bugs always creep me out
OMG!!! I LOVEEEEEE this apartment... 😍 I want it for myself... hahah too bad Im confined in Costa Rica 😒
Costa Rica sounds amazing
Yeahh... if you are coming for vacations here yes it s amazing... but living here... not so good hahaha...
@CashJordan would you hire me so I can move to NYC ??? I've seen all your videos soo believe me at this point I could be a GOOD realtor haha 😅🙌
I liked all of it and the first bedroom was my favorite
It's a beautiful apartment. I'm familiar with the area and understand why some people won't move into the area. East Harlem isn't the most desirable, crime rates are high, there's a ton of public housing surrounding (hence the price), and (for families) the public zoned schools are poorly funded and poorly rated. For Hunter College students, this might work great as it's along the 6-line, but in terms of safety, I would proceed with caution.
Yep would work for students and your right the area is something people should evaluate for themselves
Very nice! I especially like that shocked look you give every time you enter these apartments.
Lol awesome 😎
What an amazing apartment for the price and location!!
The best I’ve seen in a while for this price
Nice, I also think this would be a good family home. I like the back bedroom 😁.
Yep it would be great for a fam no doubt
I like the shape of the first bedroom best, but the second one gets the best light! For this price though, I would take either of the 3 rooms😁.
Gahhh I wrote a novel I must really like it 😂😂😂
Yep Central Park is a winner
Hmm maybe it’s not massive lol
Really nice place to live. I like the same bedroom with the two windows.
I feel like I wanna befriend Cash and just tour all the cities empty apartments together! Lol
Works for me!
this is insane for the location and price...and it's nice looking too! everything's full sized and washer dryer and dishwasher?? and it's so modern and renovated.. im shook! this would even be cheap for toronto...
Yep totally insane thats for sure
Cash you keep on doing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a GREAT apt and I cannot believe the rent. The rental market must be extremely slow for this apt to be at this price pt. LOVE the kitchen and I would take the bedroom off the livingroom. I like the view of the street and its a good size. The bathrooms are beautiful. I wonder when the rental market gets better if this apt will be increased to its market value. Or is there rent control in that area? WONDERFUL FIND CASH THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey happy to hear you liked these
