I’m more of a Jason fan I have been since I was a little kid, these last 2 Halloween movies have been some of the best horror movies I have ever seen. They have been done very well, with the lighting, kills, sound track, cool camera angles. Everything that was lacking from the series was put into these and I absolutely love them. They hold your attention unlike most modern horror movies today. This scene was so brutal I was actually hoping some of these firefighters would get away. One of the only horror movies I have seen were I actually wanted someone to survive. Micheal Myers in these movies is absolutely terrifying and brutal. Not to mention how cool the flash back scenes are. The original Halloween and the original second one are some of the best horror movies, but feel these are just as good. Especially with 2018 being a sequel . If you have this movie on Blu-ray and have headphones it’s so cool to watch it with surround sound. These movies pull off what every horror movie wishes it could. These movies have never scared me, even as a little kid they never even creeped me out, but this version of Micheal Myers being a 19 year old adult actually managed to.
I'm more of a Michael Myers fan but Sean S. Cunningham and Victor Miller need to stop being greedy with that BS lawsuit and get their heads out of their you know what and make a new Friday The 13th/Jason film. Freddy, at least Robert Englund's Freddy, is probably never going to happen now that Robert Englund is like 75 years old, Michael is getting his shine and only has one more movie and then who knows what type of Halloween films will be made, Ghostface is getting his shine with the new Scream film, Leatherface is about to get his shine on Netflix, and Jason deserves his shine as well. This is probably the most awesome scene I see Michael Myers do in the history of the franchise.. most All of the Halloween sequels in the 80’s he’s always on stealth mode.. so now he’s out in the open now. I like this direction they’re going in the franchise
Yeah, except for Rob Zombie's Michael, that one's just like this but the OG Michael is the best. Also, this Michael had some stealth mode kills in the movie too.
The movie lived up to it's name. Glad we got to see more of the kills instead of just seeing the aftermath this time. Michael wasn't playin around this time.
Crazy how a group of firefighters armed with a saw, and some tools couldn’t do anything to Michael yet Laurie was able to mess him up when she was just a kid. She’s a badass.
I remember watching this in theatres, the part where michael walks out the burning house in slow motion with every footstep hitting the bass, nothing but chills. Great movie!
In real life the US government would've created a programed cyborge killing machine like the terminator assigned to destroy Micheal Myers by the month of October. To save the existence of Halloween
I love this version of Michael. I like the other movies where he's the hunter, stealthily stalking around buildings and silently picking people off one-by-one. This time, though... You can really feel Michael's raw hatred and desperation to get revenge on the heroes, to the point where he completely throws stealth to the wind and just starts going on rampages. I really like that this film showed us what Michael would do in these sorts of situations, where he doesn't have the advantage of darkness and stealth, picking off a single, usually unarmed target at a time. If he was thrust into a bright, open-ended area with a whole crowd of armed goons around him, he could still take on all of them and win.
@@alekso1462 normally he is more strategic with his killings, is very calculated, and targeted only a small group of people instead of ruthlessly killing a group of people in a bloodthirsty rage, the most baffling thing about this iteration of good ole Mikey...

@@-_deploy_- nope, while some of Michael's feats in this Halloween timeline are definitely superhuman, it's not supernatural. Really, what supernatural thing has he really done? Does he teleport? He literally walks around in the gas station scene and there is a whole 1-2 minute cut of him walking around the Haddonfield neighborhood. Does he have Supernatural strength? Sure he crushed someones head with a single stomp, lifted a table off the floor (which was moveable anyway through a remote), and is able to hold somebody up with one hand but these are all superhuman feats not supernatural. Does he have supernatural Endurance? Sure he's been stabbed, shot, beaten, ran over, lit on fire, etc. But he's not exactly getting hit with tank shells but then again it's not exactly something you can normaly survive so again, his endurance is superhuman at most.
They should’ve finished the franchise with kills. It could have been 2 hr and 40 minutes and they could’ve just integrated like 35 min of Ends in the movie and it would’ve been great
Well you should know by that Michael is like 70 years old so it makes sense he was overpowered by a young mechanic who is used to working with heavy objects
I think this scene was really well done. Mostly how after the firemen hear their collages scream from the burning building they witness the killer surface brandishing their weapon for a showdown that starts this movie off with a bang and sets the tone for how the movie is going to play out. There will be no stalking, no hiding for an ambush to kill, death has come to their little town and they'd better be ready Michael is done playing .
I think this s the first Halloween movie where Michael takes on multiple people head on and not lurking in the dark somewhere. He's like a demon emerging from hell in this scene. Definitely a classic scene to be viewed over and over again.
I don’t think people notice Michaels supernatural strength here,he’s able to breathe in a mask in fire where there is no fresh air and is able to walk through the water hose. Sure he has more feats of strength but these feats are very overlooked due to his combat skills performed next

This scene would have been so much better if we never saw Michael in the basement…All we saw was the firefighter fall through the floor and the next part we see the other firefighter reach his hand down only for Michael to grab it. Then the first real shot of Michael is him approaching from the inferno…What an amazing entrance especially with the music by Carpenter.
No Micheal pulled the shutter up was the first scene before killing the firefighter that fell threw. Then the hand down firefighter. I was shocked Micheal didn't put on the firefighter uniform an snuck out.
The firefighter should have been filmed falling through the floor then we'd see the iron shutter (partially hidden by his body) starting to raise. After we'd see the reflect on the helmet of Micheal's arm carrying a weapon and approaching
I like to think of these firefighters all as kids who have grown up in Haddonfield. They all heard the stories traded on the playground, had nightmares of this “fictional” boogeyman and obviously having never seen real proof he existed other than a seemingly crazy old woman they forgot and grew up. But seeing Michael emerge from the house like nothing was happening reminded them and if shattered all notion that the boogeyman they were scared of their entire childhood was very real and currently coming after them
Fire Fighters: Were here to save you sir Michael Myers: No actually I am here to save you Fire Fighters: (Confused) Save us from what? 2:03 Beat drops Michael Myers: Save you from continuing to live
To me, Michael raising that Halligan bar after stepping out of the flames is him telling the firefighters "I'm having a bad night, and I've got somewhere to be. Get out of the way." Then, when they raise their weapons to defend themselves, I can practically hear that tongue click and condescending "Okay..."
A survivor does NOT simply walk out of an inferno, only MONSTERS simply walk from flames. They knew a threat from a survivor, they showed training. RIP all of those brave souls.

You are so right🤤
Facts I love Jason he’s incredible but ngl the Halloween franchise is better I watched all the movies and they got better everytime classics
It's all up to Sean S. Cunningham and Victor Miller though.
Yessssss. As a die hard Myers fanboy. Get on your knees mommas boy Jason fan. 😈😌
I’m just kidding. I loved everything you said and couldn’t agree more. I love these two movies can’t wait for the next one. And also that Carpenter expanded Soundtrack. (Whenever that gets released between now and Halloween Ends)
Why is everything you described exactly like me 😂 I’m a die hard Jason fan!!! But love Halloween as well
The cutting saw bit though... blood curdling screams from the firefighter as he's literally having his head sorn off... chills.

Forreal that was brutal, been a few throughout the franchise that were pretty nasty
Coming back to this comment, the part in Ends when he uses the blow torch was also VERY brutal just like this kill here.

Micheal was young and inexperienced back then. But the more older he gets, the more harder it is to kill him.

Those are the bravest firefighters in history. They are face to face with evil and just stood their ground to try and stop him, those guys deserve medals, pay raise, heroes parade, etc. if they survived
They’re not real
There were 8 of them. When I saw this movie in the theater, I thought "No way Michael can beat 8 firefighters." And then he did. Unbelievable.
Firefighters are amongst the most brave men out there. If this was real, pretty sure they'd fight back even if they know they'll die.
The terror in the firefighters‘ eyes is so well done. They’re no fighters, just tough dudes who help people. But when you‘re so well-equipped and still look petrified then the movie monster is well-established
Halloween Ends actually made me appreciate Kills more

@@unclelarry8842 he definitelly was not "only human" bro.
@@-_deploy_- ok maybe superhuman at most :/

Michael Myers being a badass
I think this scene was really well done. Mostly how after the firemen hear their collages scream from the burning building they witness the killer surface brandishing their weapon for a showdown that starts this movie off with a bang and sets the tone for how the movie is going to play out. There will be no stalking, no hiding for an ambush to kill, death has come to their little town and they'd better be ready Michael is done playing .
I feel so bad for them, but respect for the firefighters for not going down without a fight

I like to think of these firefighters all as kids who have grown up in Haddonfield. They all heard the stories traded on the playground, had nightmares of this “fictional” boogeyman and obviously having never seen real proof he existed other than a seemingly crazy old woman they forgot and grew up. But seeing Michael emerge from the house like nothing was happening reminded them and if shattered all notion that the boogeyman they were scared of their entire childhood was very real and currently coming after them
Not a bad theory
Man this theory is actually really good. Sadly it might not be true but boy if it is that would’ve been dope and kinda sad lol
That was more than Michael rising through the ashes, that was Michael Escaping Hell

Michael Myers: No actually I am here to save you

To me, Michael raising that Halligan bar after stepping out of the flames is him telling the firefighters "I'm having a bad night, and I've got somewhere to be. Get out of the way."
Then, when they raise their weapons to defend themselves, I can practically hear that tongue click and condescending "Okay..."
A survivor does NOT simply walk out of an inferno, only MONSTERS simply walk from flames. They knew a threat from a survivor, they showed training. RIP all of those brave souls.
