- In this video we go out to some garage sales during another day with poor weather. The reseller community competition ended up being strong, BUT they didn't utilize the Power of the Ask! At one sale that already had the main stuff picked clean, we asked anyways and had something very uncommon happen. Watch until the end if you want to see some great ebay bolos!

I did the ask at a sale this past weekend and the guy says "I've been waiting for someone like you." He took me to his basement that had shelves of systems and games. I even got an original NES in the box. Best part was I got there around 11am and I'm sure multiple resellers never asked. Thanks for sharing all that you do guys. Great scores!

The power of the ask is 100% real folks. Learned it from the CATRP crew. Used it today at EVERY yard sale/table/etc and did well. Be careful tho as the seller brought out stuff at the first sale ppl were SWARMING and grabbed things ahead of me based on MY ask. It was CRAZY. I literally told them to stop but only a few listened. CATRP wut do u do when a bunch of ppl go after wut you asked for and seller brings out?? It would have made for great UA-cam content. I wish u guys could have seen this.

I love the power of the ask but it stings when you ask and your person #13 to ask in that hour. That's the exact reason I branched out from just video games because alot of people leave really good money behind just being laser focused on video games.
You’re totally right. I expand or cater my asks now based on wut else I’m into or the seller might be into. If u make it a conversation and are cool about it u can develop good relationships that most buyers never bother with. I’ve got 3 ppl with 3 different things potentially calling me back with. None were games.
Great video, I love the honesty while making a deal, nothing better than gaining the trust of the seller and not being afraid to pay a fair price. It has gotten me some great deals over the years and the seller is also left happy with the deal so it’s a win win! Keep it up guys!

Years ago my boys had I believe the original Nintendo game box and they had a game called Shaharizad...absolutely loved that game...have never seen it since; but, it was a stinker to win. I'm 75 so don't play much these days but still find it all fun & interesting. God Bless.❤🙏

Love the Mamiya the most. I used to own a similar one that I used in my photography business. They're great, durable medium format cameras. All their accessories sell for really good money also.

Picked up a small box with two gameboy’s Pokémon games and some other high dollar games… paid $20 for all worth about $800 for all
Left Smash Melee, a bunch of GameCube games and PS1 games all 1$ each. Bet they just didn’t see it, best score I’ve ever had
A nice small one the other day a person was selling a load of airfix and other models, someone brought the lot but left a small one, worth nearly £40. Did get a working Gameboy for £1 the other day but I was the first game Dealer to that stall + a 2ds orange one today £5 at a new carboot sale.
Every time I go to a sale. UA-cam has expanded my knowledge so much. Even thrift stores, there is rarely a time I cannot find things others have missed.
Do you guys ever buy horror movies on vhs? Good money there too. 👌
Weird one for me was that I was out at a sale and somebody was looking for a DVD player and had a box with a PS2 and about 40 games in their hands marked at $20. The sale also had a dvd/blu ray player for $20. I went up to the lady and said “hey look! I heard you want a DVD player and they have that one for $20 too! You should get that one instead and you can play blu rays too!” She put the PS2 box down and I got it which had a bunch of amazing PS1 and PS2 titles!
My favorite part of the pickup had to be the GameCube stuff. It was my first system growing up. I sold a bunch of games from my collection years ago and regretted it later.
The GameCube stuff seems to be the hardest to replace, especially since some of the games I used to have are worth way more (looking at you Chibi-Robo).
Dark Cloud 2 is an amazing game, Level 5 were at the top of their craft back then.
I found two Wii U gamepads at the pawn shop for $5 each and one of them was the Zelda edition and they both worked. Amazing finds guys, im distracted by cats too no worries

There's a wayne Gretzky game where he has JUST a white jersey , no words etc and it's worth 50+ normal copy is black/white jersey with words on it is like 10$ shipped. Max.

Infinity.The spider-man play set comes with Nova and a crystal and the sell well together. Others that sell well together are Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger and Alice and the Mad Hatter.
Also depending on price I woulda picked up those Little People dinosaurs and sold them for $35.

Pay up every time and build that relationship. You guys seem to be awesome when someone's selling it ridiculously lower than you planned on offering and that's how I do it. If I planned on offering $75 and someone is way below that I have no problem giving them more. In this case it's a no brainer because I can almost guarantee you will do business with him again plus it was so more than a fair price to resell. Always leave your contact information with people. Because they have friends and if you do them right you know some of them will refer friends and family

My favorite was the jak and Daxter collection on vita. I have the sly Cooper collection on vita sealed. I really want the jak and Daxter collection and the sly Cooper collection for vita not sealed so I can play them lol. I can't bring myself to open the seal on the sly Cooper collection for vita.

Lol that Mushroom Men the spore wars is a great little obscure Wii title. Doesn't go for much, but it's one of those games that I can see skyrocket in value in the future. Kinda strange that it didn't get any love I enjoyed it quite a bit.

We’ll check off camera, or it’s just cut. I also have a disc cleaner that can repair almost any disc, but yes otherwise it could affect the worth
