Love the list, and here's my little add on. Toledo, I'm the starter at both Toledo and Flat Rock speedway 30 minutes north in Michigan. The tracks are both owned by the same person who used to own ARCA and is currently the ARCA president. Been trying like hell to get both tracks in iracing. Both tracks hold ARCA races, both have late models, street stocks, figure 8. USAC comes to Toledo with the silver crowns, both tracks would be a great add. Toledo is 18° in 3-4 and 20° in 1-2. That weird shaped short track is original, 65 years old. It's technically 1/5 mile. I've messaged iracing through their Facebook page and have gotten a reply of we'll pass it along. If anyone knows another way to try we have the full go ahead to get them in sim.
My wishlist is all California tracks. Current tracks would be: Perris Auto Speedway (dirt oval), Stockon 99 Speedway (Paved Oval), and Ventura Raceway (dirt Oval). Lost Cali tracks would be: Riverside, Mesa Marin, and Ontario Motor Speedway
@@Daytona_Dad yeah, we’ve been doing a lot of off-road but switching back to stock car is where my hearts at if I can get enough subscribers on the UA-cam page we’re going to be live streaming a lot of Cali races this year. Hopefully I just can’t get enough!
Evergreen Speedway in Washington State. It has a 5/8, 3/8 and 1/5th mile oval, with a figure 8 in on the 1/5th oval. And it was in a track pack back in the old Sierra days
Metrolina Speedway Middle Georgia Raceway Asheville-Weaverville Speedway Augusta International Raceway Occoneechee Speedway Columbia Speedway Jungle Park Speedway San Antonio Speedway Arundel Speedway Cleveland County Fairgrounds Speedway here is other short tracks for you.
Would love to see Louisville as mentioned at the end. Used to go there for the trucks and absolutely had a blast every time. All the tracks you showed would be a lot of fun to drive. I remember so many days sitting in front of the tv watching the trucks and Busch guys at those tracks.
Flemington, my home track! Saw both dirt and pavement races there. Really miss that place, and Nazareth as well. Great wish list of tracks. As far as NJ tracks, Trenton was unique and ran open wheel and NASCAR. Wall is still around and New Egypt which has been both dirt and pavement.
One of the things I love about iRacing and want to seem them do more of is preserving cars and tracks for a modern audience to experience. With cars like the 87 Legends, the Lotus 49/79, etc and tracks like Rockingham, NWB (until last year), and more it's great to have the ability to experience racing that I and others missed out on because of being younger/not into it until they died off. So hopefully more dying/forgotten tracks can be preserved and enjoyed digitially
From what I understand about Flemington it was wildly dangerous. As you said it raced like a circle, so drivers were almost always on the throttle. Makes it sorta similar to another dangerous circular track in NASCAR's history, Langhorne Speedway. At least Flemington had real concrete walls whereas Langhorne had thin guardrails that tended to spear the cars that crashed into them. I think what we desperately miss in modern racing are oval tracks that were built by eyeballing it. I don't really have an original list of tracks that I would want to see in iracing other than more 1/4-mile short tracks. Slinger is great but I'd like to see one with more sweeping corners like Thunder Road. The biggest thing on my wish list is more tracks that fit with the '87 cars. Old North Wilkesboro looks great, and re-skinning some of the legacy tracks to look like their '87 versions would be really cool. I know I've said this a hundred times but I'll just keep asking until it happens.
Gotta have the rest of the SRX tracks, planned ones included so I could get my local short track Thunder Road! Beech Ridge Motor Speedway a pipe dream that will never happen. Another short track I've been to up near Oxford in Maine. It was sold off a few years ago to developers, track may still be there but not much longer if it is. Its a flat 1/3 mile oval, we don't have anything like it. Its kind of like Langely, but much more round. Its in NR2003 though, really good quality too from JR Franklin and ShortTrack Sim. Nazareth and Pikes Peak are also on my list from 1999 Edition. Going to slip a road course in here but Topeka Heartland Motorsports Park is a road course from 1999 Edition that was fun, turns dump on to what I thought was a runway growing up but its just the drag strip. Other notables, Louisville Motor Speedway is another unique shaped track from that game. I looked and the big loop doesn't exist anymore, just the smaller oval and the figure 8. Memphis Motorsports Park a Busch track no longer used but still exists in a capacity that could be preserved possibly. And full Thompson, give us the road course portion!
I will never stop asking for Ona Speedway. It's an old short track in Ona, WV (about 30 mins from where I live) and used to be a NASCAR track like way back in the 60s. Reopened in the 90s, still going and hasn't been repaved since. It's the only proper race track I've raced irl (4 cylinder and a late model) and the old surface is a ton of fun. Plus, there's a little airfield right beside it which is pretty cool. Unfortunately it's not very popular anymore and usually doesn't have huge turnouts but if it came to iRacing, I think it would help it out a lot.
I hope Seekonk Speedway makes it into iRacing. After all it's a Massachusetts track (One of the few in the state), I'm a Mass native, and iRacing was founded, developed and operates in Massachusetts 😃
Fully agree on Pikes Peak. Would love to get the hill climb there too. I do really wish they'd venture a little into the guess work of bygone tracks though. Honestly all of these are great. As a Texan I'd love for Texas World Speedway. But definitely need Flemington, Nazareth, and Rockingham UK
Great list! I’d add Santa Fe Speedway. Hinsdale, IL. Clay track, half mile with a quarter mile inside. Side note, my dad and I went to a truck race at Chicago motor speedway. Really cool!
I'd love to see Nazareth and Texas World Speedway. I know there's not much left but throw a drone up there, do a drone scan of whats left for any basic surveying references and build it the best we can using notes and references left. Heck Nazareth probably has great notes from the NR2003 days.
Berlin would be awesome in iracing. Also falls under the “unique” category but is still active today. SRX came last summer and Pretty sure arca is going this year.
Since I am predominately IndyCar focused I will echo some of your picks. Pikes Peak - yes! El Dorado - open to the idea. Rockingham UK - yes! Toledo - eh, I’m not a huge short track guy Salem - ok only because it’s an Indiana track. Chicago Motor Speedway - yes! Nazareth - yes! Flemington - eh…again, not a short track fan. So I will call your Pikes Peak, Rockingham, Chicago and Nazareth and raise you: Indianapolis Raceway Park Road Course - where Mario got his first IndyCar Win. Course still exists. Autódromo Ciudad de Rafaela - 2.8 mile paper clip high banked oval in Argentina. USAC Champ Cars raced here in 1971. Track still exists. Hanford Speedway - track doesn’t exist but was a 1.4 mile high banked oval in California. USAC Champ Car raced here in 1968. And add Trenton, Walt Disney World Speedway, Old Atlanta, EuroSpeedway and Rio to that list. And, last but not least, Indianapolis Motor Speedway with out the pit road warm up lanes. Good video!
I wish they would scan Calder Park Thunderdome over here in Aus especially now it's been resurfaced and starting to come back to life after 25yrs. I remember meeting Niel Bonnet, Micheal Waltrip and others their in the early 90's and started my obsession with nascar. Feel free to let Nascar know the tracks available for the clash next year!!
I want Salem sooo bad. It's like Bristol with the surface of Hickory. Run the middle in 1/2 and top of 3/4. Tons of character, tons of history, and it would flesh out the ARCA schedule as they still run there.
There was an old Indy car game that had Pikes Peak International Raceway and it was fun. The real racing at that truck was great in the 90’s and early 2000’s.
Flemington is like Indy and Martinsville having a baby. Also, would love to see the Freedom Factory and the Hoosier Hundred at Indiana State Fairgrounds
I feel like a real easy thing they can change is limited tear offs in dirt. It feels pointless to even have it as a feature if you just press the tear off button once you get a spec of dirt on your visor. I would go 15 laps or less, 10 tear offs. Any thing more you get 20 tear offs. That's how I do it IRL because I can't get anymore than that lol
Great list! Agree with all of the existing tracks. Some even have road course layouts for TC. Some of the tracks I haven’t heard of because I’ve been in California my whole life. Speedway 605 (Irwindale), Riverside, Ontario, Orange Show. Spent lots of time at all of those. Great video!
You can keep all the short tracks but definitely the longer ones. Nazareth and Rockingham is on many people's wish list but Chicago seems good with lots of potential to draft and then dive underneath for turns 1 and 3. Never knew of Pikes Peak (apart from hill climb) so that would be interesting to race on. But any oval that also has a road course (Roval) should be the main ones so that it appeals to ALL sim racers that either don't like ovals or don't like road, therefore more people are likely to buy the content.
Well I learned quite a bit watching this, didn't know much about any of those but I'd love to see some of those unique tracks in there, that's part of what i enjoy about this, working out each new track and unlocking their secrets
That 1998 Busch series race at Pikes Peak is worth a watch with Dale Jr and Tony Stewart tangling. Nice one including Rockingham, I've ran around it in a road car, it's definitely a unique track. They still do the occasional race there I think! Cheers for video learnt alot
Might as well get as many short tracks as possible. Here in North Carolina, Tri-County, Ace, Orange County, Wake County, amongst others. But all of these choices in the video would be awesome.
I don’t know how they would go about it because there is no such thing as dry slick at this track but the Tri State Speedway in Haubstadt IN is a gem. It’s mostly a nonwing track but anything that races there has good racing
Went to my first ever NASCAR event at Flemington when I was a kid and it kickstarted my obsession with NASCAR today. I’d also love to see a revival of the Trenton Fairgrounds Speedway but it’s now a Walmart and sculpture park today.
Nice video. Don't know to much about oval track besides the one nascar runs and the ones in iracing. Looks like a good wish list. would be nice with some bigger oval thats not high banking.
If you get Toledo, you might as well get the other track ARCA also owns on the same trip, 30 minutes due north of Toledo: Flatrock Speedway. It's a fast 1/4 mile, with really good figure 8 track, and has no walls on the inside, only an outside wall.
Really wish they would scan Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, ME before it inevitably gets bulldozed. Fun little 1/3 mile similar to Oxford Plains Speedway.
I'd take Rockingham. The road track would be fun too for GT and TCR cars. It would make business sense for iRacing to produce one track that could be sold to both oval and road racers.
My wish list goes, East Bay, Jennerstown, Florence, and Spartan in MI. I'd also like to see Citrus make it in the game, since they hold the largest Legends race in the country. If I could have one recreated, it would be I-70.
Wooow.. Nice. Salem looks cool but man, Flemington! That looks special, like a street-oval with the walls in every turn ! Nice to se Kenny Bräck :) the coolest dude with the wierdest swedish accent possible :) !!
Lot of good comments on tracks that are long gone. I just wish I was older to have experienced watching them run. I do remember Nazareth and seeing how dirty they did that track is pretty sad. I think they want all cookie cutter tracks to fit their cookie cutter cars.
I would also add Lausitzring in Germany and Raceway Venray in the Netherlands. I find European ovals to be really unique and interesting, so those would be cool additions.
I'd just like any track from my area, Volunteer Speedway or 411 Speedway since it's been dirt and paved, Smokey Mountain where Lucas Oil goes. Itd be cool to take it back to NASCARS roots and make old cars racing on Daytona Beach but that would never happen😂
Just saw a video stating Saugus speedway will be demolished in March . I would also like to see I-Racing do Bowman Gray and any short tracks with figure 8's.
Fun fact on Toledo Speedway: it is co-owned by ARCA and the City of Toledo. So if it doesn't get scanned because of owner issues, it's probably the city, though I don't think they'd say no.
@@nihontiger no worries. A lot of people think ARCA owns the speedway which then means NASCAR owns it and they figure there's millions of dollars to put into it, which there's not lol.
Would you want the dirt version of Flemington too? My wishlist is East Windsor Pleasantville Vineland speedway the Bridgeport, 5/8 rolling wheels and ones that are still around definitely the Bridgeport 4/10 freedom factory wall stadium Georgetown and Grandview
"NASCAR guys would hate it because its difficult... and not American" lol that was great, I would kill for Rockingham UK such a unique track, which is what we need more of.
@@Cliff_the_hobbygeek that’s really cool my uncle used to race there too. I have run there several times myself. Tracks I really miss running on orange show Speedway El Cajon, I 10 and Stockton Mesa Marin was awesome too. A lot of good racing back in the day.
First and foremost East Bay. Second, any track on a series calendar that has an official partnership. I.e Toledo, Salem, Winchester, elko, Duquoin, Springfield, st Pete, Portland etc
Also I understand if this is not possible but I would love if Iracing would add old tracks like Rockingham and even the ones you listed to Chicagoland and Auto club in the Nascar 25 game and maybe with some fantasy tracks like dodge raceway and maybe some others I understand licenses might make that hard to do but at least it would make fun to make your own schedule in championship mode with tracks and remove the ones that's no great so for me I would probably remove Pocono and replace it with one of those real or fantasy tracks
I-70 Speedway in Odessa Missouri the pavement version where NASCAR had some races at. I haven't heard much about it in many years so I don't know if it still exists.
A lost track I would love for them to put into iracing would be the Ole moody mile the syracuse fairgrounds ... I swear they tried to pay homage to it in the woo console game with i-84 kinda just because it's the biggest track the location of it in game but still the moody mile I think would be a fun race if they actually worked in pitstops as the big blocks did 200 laps and nascar style live pitstops and you can watch footage of the races some of the full races are up on UA-cam nothing else like it on dirt ... super dirt week at Oswego dirt ( I say that cause it's primarily an asphalt track all year till October) is nothing compared to what super dirt week at syracuse was but also on that note Oswego paved and dirt versions should be on iracing especially if they ever bring in super mods to Iracing as it's one of the supermods homes and if we ever get super mods I'm hope for top wing and non wing versions ... idk about everywhere else that runs super mods but Oswego weekly super mod class don't run the top wings ... I actually don't think Oswego runs top wings till the bud classic ... sorry for ranting but if anyone that goes to Oswego weekly please respond and correct me if my info is wrong I've only been to Oswego a handful of times in my life atleast a bud classic in early 2000s maybe and maybe 3 weekly shows from then till current day
One track with alot of history that almost NOONE remembers that deserves some love for being unique and unseen nowadays is Sanair "Super Speedway" in Quebec. Open Wheel and stockcar history there into the 80's, .9 mile triangle track unseen anywhere else in Canada, or maybe even North America. I remember lapping the hell out of it in NR2003 years ago. ua-cam.com/video/wK9Up9CnRxs/v-deo.html
Rockingham UK never released, as the track shutdown. Whether they will ever release it, my guess is prob not sadly. You missed the most unique track that no longer exists. Rio oval.
Does anyone know how much it costs to scan a track? Obviously, the size of the track would probably affect this. Has iRacing ever thought about putting a track on pre-order and if they get enough money that way, then they can already have the money to scan a track instead of hoping it sells well?
Travel, Man Hours, What the track wants, Legal Fees, Translator Fees in some cases, then all the art work, testing, etc... They used to do pre-sales with stuff that was almost finished, they have also done tech tracks, but people never understand what they are buying and freak out when it doesn't come.
Ontario Motor Speedway Texas World Speedway Calder Park Raceway Autódromo Ciudad de Rafaela Trenton Speedway Phakisa Freeway Evergreen Speedway Lausitzring Sanair Super Speedway Autódromo Miguel E. Abed Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez Marchbanks Speedway Birmingham International Raceway I-70 Motorsports Park Adelaide International Raceway Autódromo de Luanda Bahrain International Circuit Highlands Motorsport Park Mallory Park Penbay International Circuit Raceway Venray Tours Speedway other other mexican and canadian short ovals that mine pick here. so you want ovals you got ovals. iracing needs to step it up here.
It would be really cool to have all those late 90s truck series tracks. Mesa Marin and Walt Disney World Speedway would be really cool
That old Dr Pepper Busch scheme would be cool to see ya run on a throwback weekend or for the fun of it.
Mesa Marin might be a little difficult because the track doesn't exist to scan anymore, but Disney World Speedway would definitely be cool
Walt Disney World Speedway wpuld be pretty cool to have on the service

I would also add Lausitzring in Germany and Raceway Venray in the Netherlands. I find European ovals to be really unique and interesting, so those would be cool additions.
I'd just like any track from my area, Volunteer Speedway or 411 Speedway since it's been dirt and paved, Smokey Mountain where Lucas Oil goes.
Itd be cool to take it back to NASCARS roots and make old cars racing on Daytona Beach but that would never happen😂
I know they can't scan the track since it doesn't exist anymore but the Chicago motor speedway would be cool.
Saugus speedway in ca. the track is still there to scan.
Just saw a video stating Saugus speedway will be demolished in March . I would also like to see I-Racing do Bowman Gray and any short tracks with figure 8's.
Rockford before it's gone forever. Dells Raceway, Berlin, Lacrosse, Madison, WIR
We want scuff tires!
Fun fact on Toledo Speedway: it is co-owned by ARCA and the City of Toledo. So if it doesn't get scanned because of owner issues, it's probably the city, though I don't think they'd say no.
Sometimes government ownership can cause a massive pain for contracts
Very incorrect, neither the city or ARCA own the speedway. See my comment for full info
@@adammatthewssr.77 I see, good to know the situation there
@@adammatthewssr.77 thanks for the correction, I had bad information
Orange show Speedway!
My uncle raced there when I was a kid.
@@Cliff_the_hobbygeek that’s really cool my uncle used to race there too. I have run there several times myself. Tracks I really miss running on orange show Speedway El Cajon, I 10 and Stockton Mesa Marin was awesome too. A lot of good racing back in the day.
Honestly I want to see some good micro tracks such as like port city or southern Illinois raceway
Nazareth. I suspect if any of the Andrettis were embedded in iRacing the way Dale is, this would happen.
First and foremost East Bay.
Second, any track on a series calendar that has an official partnership. I.e Toledo, Salem, Winchester, elko, Duquoin, Springfield, st Pete, Portland etc
There is one big track I would like to see and they also have a good roval, TEXAS WORLD.
Sad to see some of these tracks gone
It was a fun place in nr2003
Its a dirt track now
I'd throw the Lausitzring Oval(s) into the mix
Mesa Marin since it was in one of the Papyrus NASCAR games iirc.
Yeah that place was cool
I actually don't think Oswego runs top wings till the bud classic ... sorry for ranting but if anyone that goes to Oswego weekly please respond and correct me if my info is wrong I've only been to Oswego a handful of times in my life atleast a bud classic in early 2000s maybe and maybe 3 weekly shows from then till current day
Well I guess I'm psychic.... hope this means super mod fans are getting super mods wit Oswego... are the foam blocks gunna be realistic
I think they should also add east bay raceway since it's closing after the 2024 season
Trenton speedway and the ol kidney bean track!!!!
Nazareth is a need for iRacing its still one of my most raced tracks on nr2003
Evergreen and Calder Park Thunderdome for me.
We need a rescan of five flags its in its old versions and has had some remodeling since
Dominion in Fredericksburg, Va
I wanna see Trenton Speedway
Iracing should try to do Daytona beach track
U should do road courses next
sad to not see Calder raceway
One track with alot of history that almost NOONE remembers that deserves some love for being unique and unseen nowadays is Sanair "Super Speedway" in Quebec. Open Wheel and stockcar history there into the 80's, .9 mile triangle track unseen anywhere else in Canada, or maybe even North America. I remember lapping the hell out of it in NR2003 years ago. ua-cam.com/video/wK9Up9CnRxs/v-deo.html
Forgot about that one, i knew about it a few years ago.
What tracks dislike Sim racing? I don’t think I’ve heard of that before.
It may be less now, but back when i was on alpha for a sim 16 years ago there was push back from.old owners that didnt understand sim racing
Wall Staduim
Cayuga/ Jukasa
Please please do toledo speedway and flat rock speedway arca owns both
I'd love to see both. I have fond memories of going to Flatrock for the Dealers Choice races when I was a kid.

I'm still rioting for Mosport oval!!! its scanned and nowhere to be found. lol
Yeah thay place had a wonky t1 from the scan data they showed
@@kneebon5 coming out of turn 4 there is was a huge bump that would unsettle cars
The Mexico track is a copy of Richmond
there alot of street circuit and road course i need. but not right now here. because you wanted ovals and that what you got here.
i forgetting tulsa fairgrounds speedway. sorry.
Rockingham UK never released, as the track shutdown. Whether they will ever release it, my guess is prob not sadly. You missed the most unique track that no longer exists. Rio oval.
I would like to see Nazareth. But probably would have to be computer generated because of how bad the place is now. It’s a shame.
Alaska Raceway Park just for the views. lol
Yeah that place is pretty crazy looking.
Why doesnt any one ever want Gallatin Speedway? HA!
