This Nebula has only the one bit of "chrome" but she hides it with her hair because it's the only sort of 'blemish' so to speak, clever little detail in character design that shows she's lived a nicer life and has smaller things to worry about without outwardly explaining that detail.
People hating on peter tends to forget the saying the watcher said at the beginning nurturing. Peter was taken against his will,his mother just died in front of him and his father wasn't there! So he's an angry scared kid taken to somewhere he didn't wanna be. While T'challa was raised by two loving parents, hasn't experienced loss, curious about what's beyond wakanda,raised to be a leader. So yeah two kids raised differently are going to influence others around them differently!
This episode was a love letter to Chadwick Boseman as a human being. T'Challa changed everyone around him for the better and I do not believe that this episode was written the way it was without that in mind. He must have had a huge effect on the ones who worked with him.
This really goes to show what a force for good T'Challa, and truly Chadwick Boseman, is for all those he comes in contact with. Having the Wakanda music come in during the climatic moments in the same way Quill's mom's mixtape music would come in for Guardians was genius. And Chadwick was so excited about this version of the character too. I believe we'll get 3 more episodes with Chadwick voicing the character, but I think this is the most prominent he'll be. RIP to the King.
What's sad is while doing this Chadwick was writing notes down of this version of the character that he wanted to try seeing some of the elements could be worked in for BP2..... feel free to cry now.

That was the most WTF moment in the entire episode for me. Never would have seen it coming. I guess that's why I'm not paid the big bucks to write the scripts.
I definitely happy-cried during this episode, and cried-cried. Chadwick Boseman was fantastic, and it's such a shame we lost him. The scenes where T'Chaka were talking about T'Challa gave me chills, like he was talking about Chadwick himself. "You are one bright, burning light in the night sky of billions... until we find you. In this plane, or the next." That tore me apart.
I think a lot of us have that same reaction at the end seeing that dedication to Chadwick. Hearing his voice first catches you then you go on this great ride for this episode. Then we get hit with the reality again.

This episode was such a hype for me and it just emphasizes to me how much of a great person T'Challa is that even in space he was helping others and he even convinced the ravagers to change. It's also funny how when Peter was StarLord nobody knew him but T'challa as starlord, he's famous. T'Challa is just awesome. I can't believe he convinced Thanos not to kill half the universe and Thanos joined his team and helped people!! I saw Josh Brolin in the opening credits and I got so excited. Such a cool way to bring him back, and they even had me rooting for him lol and I was right there with you at the end, I was full on crying.

T'Challa changed the Ravagers, Thanos, and so many beings in the universe for good, and became popular that his alias "Starlord" has become a legend. In our reality, the name "Starlord" evokes question of "Who the fuck is Starlord?" Hopefully Racoon and Groot became better beings too.
though regardless of effectiveness. there are always unforeseen consequences. peter may not have been the best hero. but he WAS in a unique position to do some good. though it really depends on the events if ego has the potential to do more damage then thanos did. maybe on a smaller scale. but it would probably be worse for those within that smaller scale.
And yet, Peter being Peter avoided the end of the universe by confronting Ego and beating him. Now Ego can use Peter since he poses no threat, and then try and conquer the Universe. That's what we will see in other episodes of "What If" i'm sure. The new "Avengers" confronting Ego.
Chadwick and Tchalla are heroes. I love that Tchalla becoming starlord changed the course of the entire MCU because of what a good human being he was lol Good Thanos it’s some thing I didn’t even think of but we needed it lol Wakanda Forever. PS Awesome reaction to good Thanos lol

I laughed. I cried. I was stunned. This episode blew my mind. And then they topped it with the cherry of Space Age Love Song by A Flock of Seagulls. I didn't think anyone but me remembered that song. Perfection.

You gotta ask given Chadwick's condition did they know when writing this? Searching for him through the universe or Another plane... And the Yondu stuff saying he had a place anywhere in the Universe... it was just heartbreaking in the best way.
So according to this Nebula is the answer to the question “What if …..Jessica Rabbit and Smurfette had a baby?” Seriously the Smurfette joke is the only reason why I can figure out for Nebula not to be Ging like Gillan. Seriously though this episode is even better than the last….as for who you’d wanna have a drink with from this episode….well top choice is obviously the Big Guy…because how can you not want to hang out with Good Times Thanos, the mellow Titan talking gardening, and hypothetical genocide.
This series has no right to be this good. From the writing to the animation, this is everything we could have hoped for. And the effects of the changes aren't just superficial, they're so well thought out and believable. Roll on next week.

You remember that gag on Family Guy about how Samuel L. Jackson is in everything? That’s Seth Greene for me. I remember a couple years ago for a whole week I watched media that somehow all had Seth Greene in it: one of the live action Scooby-Doo movies, Family Guy, season 1 of The X-Files. So hearing Seth Greene as Howard the Duck again it’s like, of course he is 🤣
These stories will culminate in the end. There was said to be 10 episodes but it was cut down to 9 due to the pandemic. Showrunners said that Captain Carter will be in every season and Chadwick still voices T'Challa in 3 more of the episodes. In the trailer you can see T'Challa Star-lord, Killmonger Black Panther, Gamora in Thanos armor and Party Thor battling Ultron.
I was totally blown away by this episode, especially for so many people returning to reprise their film roles as voice actors. I also had no idea Chadwick Boseman recorded the lines for this episode before he died but I am so glad he did. Great great episode. 👏👏👏

So you guys know, chadwick is credited for voices in 4 episodes. This may not be the last we hear him.
These stories will culminate in the end. There was said to be 10 episodes but it was cut down to 9 due to the pandemic. Showrunners said that Captain Carter will be in every season and Chadwick still voices T'Challa in 3 more of the episodes. In the trailer you can see T'Challa Star-lord, Killmonger Black Panther, Gamora in Thanos armor and Party Thor battling Ultron.
