Appreciate your efforts. Good to see some BRENTWOOD FD action. Don't know about lately but there was a time when they were one of the busiest volunteer fire departments on LONG ISLAND along with CENTRAL ISLIP FD.
I have so many questions, but I'm not sure I want the answers either. I'm afraid the answers would make this more painful than this video was to watch.
Lay in, deck gun, hand lines. Straight streams put a massive amount of water on a very small area of burning material. The object is Not to just get it done eventually, the object is to test your work ethic and see how quickly and safely you can eliminate the threat while using the least amount of water.
Structure was already a total loss nothing to save except the Uhaul which from the look of this video they did. I have stated this before you need to go see a phycologist or a certified counsellor to deal with your inferiority complex. Don't bother responding as I will embarrass you again. Remember you having to apologise for your arrogant attitude to me.
Man wtf are these dudes doing, they didn’t even attempt to use the deck gun, and then pullled and 1 3/4. I mean how could you not pull a 2 1/2. This is a disappointing
Can't believe they are using a "red" line on a fully involved structure fire, should have pulled bigger lines to get it knocked down quicker. Firemen didn't look like they knew what to do or how to fight the fire, looked lost, very unprofessional, obviously lack training. Someone needs to approach the county with this and get them properly trained before life is lost.
Must've been a Monday before coffee. Y'all looked half asleep. Dude's just holding a live propane tank right next to a burning building. Other dudes spraying shit that's not on fire. One guy about got knocked out by a gutter. With how engulfed the building was before you got water in it, y'all must've taken 20 minutes to get there.
seems like it take for ever for the fire department to get started then they spray a little hear a little there, if they took a little longer there would be no clean up.
@@bretteinhorn8507 I am seeing with UA-cam alot of fire department really are not that good we used to fight fire with half the guys and didn't waste taxpayers money with these terrible department

I'm amazed at how fast they got water on that fire!
Deck gun gentlemen, If your not going to use it don’t spec it on your next pump 🤯
Why no exposure problem except for the Uhaul. Structure is a total loss on arrival, great opportunity to practice evolutions and extinguish the fire.
@@davidlenzi3551 because you treat every fire like the event it is and go to work. This felt lazy.

It's absolutely ridiculous that an area as densely populated as this would have a VOLUNTEER fire dept.
@@ffjsb all of Long Island is vol. it’s unfortunate that will never change

Sure hope they took out insurance with U-Haul :)
Excellent channel. Just subscribed 👍 Like minded content.
Wow unbelievable hope everyone is ok
I was hoping they would at least save the basement.
Great video
The place is fully involved. The only thing to save is the basement walls. Yet everyone is losing their minds

Then they dragged it over a downed power line.... SMH
Why to save the foundation
Sera por un corto circuito porque esta congelado a su alrededor
