Im 40 years old and Im just blown away with how easy it is to learn anything you want nowadays. It wasn't like that in the 80s and 90s. If your machine had a problem and you weren't mechanical, you had to take it somewhere. This video covers exactly what I needed in such detail. Great video. My 2020 Ranger Crew XP 1000 is very difficult to shift when it's running, especially into high gear. If the gear selector is in Low and I stop and attempt to shift into High, it's nearly impossible. If I move the gear selector down into Neutral, I can then shift into High in one motion but it's hard to do. At 25 hours I took it to the dealer. He kept it for two weeks. When I went to pick it up I was told it was fixed and the problem was simply a cable adjustment. The service manager brought it out to load on my trailer. I asked him to stop and shift from Low to High. He had great difficulty. So, it's NOT fixed. I refused to leave it with them for any longer period of time. It looks like I'll be fixing it myself. I have a 2021 xp1000 that has a lot of “slack” in the rear end. If the rear end is jacked up and you turn one wheel, the opposite wheel doesn’t turn immediately like a true locked differential. This is in the lock differential mode. Not sure what is normal For the amount of slack in a locked differential.
