Great VT again, nice to see you both together - I'm playing catch up. I love watching those short strip/wilderness flying videos too. I was shown the tip whereby the fuselage can be tipped downwards to check the rudder has full and free movement (for nose wheel steering types), it never occurred to me either, but microlights are so light it makes perfect sense. I also heard on the tower RT, Zulu Xray, my ears pricked up, when Rory mentioned a Cessna too. I wonder if it's an old 150B I had a ride in? What is it with pilots being in bands, Ive met a few of those! Loved the musical interlude, you guys sound great. Like Les McQueen (League of Gentleman), I was in a band or two, wrote our own stuff : "It's a *@%&! business; I'm glad I'm out of it." Ha ha! Trees falling in woods? Yeah, in our reality, of course they make a noise. But! Without going into concepts such as Schrödinger's cat et al, without another being to witness such an event, did it really happen? Off to lie in a darkened room now! LOL!
Really enjoyed this video . Flying with mates is one of life’s great pleasures , and obviously you and Rory both enjoyed your time together that day . I’ll be waiting to see Rory down at your home airfield now . Thanks for sharing .
Great video, nice to see some different stuff to Rory's. I also didn't realise there could be areas that require less radio work than others. Really cool, very well shot and edited with good music.
Hey thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it! On the south coast (especially where I fly) theres barely any airspace that requires me to speak to people and considering I fly from an unmanned air/ground radio airfield there is minimal radio work to do.
Fantastic video fella and you play the drums well too. No crumpet again this time but not to worry, love your videos and love flying as well it gets in the blood and you can't get it out!!

I am learning to fly at Deanland but not as often as I like or should be.
Cool, I'll probably see you around then!
Great video! Watched yours and Rory’s back-to-back, it’s like a mini buddy movie ha ha 😁👍
Haha yeh, thanks for watching!! We will be flying together more in the future. I'm looking forward to it!

Haha I know!! Thank you glad you enjoyed watching!
Another excellent edit job mate - well done. Your band music is ace too!
Haha thanks, my skills as a drummer play well in terms of my pilot skills because I'm good with my hand-eye coordination!
The MicroPilot yeah I bet that helps. Drummers do it with rhythm. 😂
I would buy a patch. You guys were great together. Thanks
Thanks so much and yes!! I keep meaning to get around to making them, shouldn't be too long!
Hello @The MicoPilot I’m 😃 to collab with and be an editor if it’ll be of any assistance/help for you in any way.
Can we have a bit more needle next time, along the lines of "who taught you to fly??" !
MrAlwaysBlue ha ha ha - bring it on!
Yes of course, I will probably do a video about my flying school and their aircraft ect.
