While looking at this word map always keep in mind that its made for horizontal viewing, while in reality the earth is spherical. What this means is that the country sizes in this map are not actually correctly proportioned. For example, Australia is not as tiny and Russia is not as huge as it looks here. Countries towards north are shown much larger than they are. India is also disproportionate in this. We are 7th largest country in the world by area.
