i think were a l;ot of people get it wrong about mixing . is the acoustic of the room,
so better low budget equipment in a great sounding room..then the opposite ..so the key is a fact: all sTART WITH A GOOD SOUNDINg room then the gears in 2 place......greetings
im super happy i will play on sunday with a `~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"oprah winfrtey alike`' gospel band...and as rewards i can put all my acoustc drums mics etc...there and plat whenever i need ...the great things is also that this room some already acoustically great ,so finally i will be able to platy at home on my niew e drfum purchase..and set my acoustic gretsch catalina maple shells in the studio!...yesssssss!

Just shows you don't need to overspend on gear nowadays since all the Mfrs make such great gear. That is, as long as you know what heads to use and how to tune. Outstanding and inspiring, as always!! Man, I'd LOVE to hear you replicate these exact sounds on an eKit! With or without a VST. THIS is the pure sound I'd love to get out of my eKit someday

Agreed! To my ears this sounds as good as Superior Drummer 3. Ralf, have you ever thought about recording a sample library? Then make it available for import on something like the Mimic, 2Box or new Alesis module etc?
@@rockylee9832 Yes I do plan some sample recording, but still need to sort out things. This is a LOT of work actually, so I’ll need to team up with some folks 🥁 hoping for some developments this year 🍸

Haha, yeah I always feel I need to "break it down" to the essential stuff in the edit. There's tons of unused drumming footage leftovers though, so most of the time I might actually edit 3 videos from one session 😆

La dernière chose à laquelle je pense c'est le prix du drum ou des cymbales, lorsqu'il y a clairement beaucoup de budget d'investi pour créer des vidéos avec différents angles de caméras. De plus, la qualité du son est influencé par ton playing d'un drummer qui a investi plein d'heures, mais aussi par la manipulation du son, avant de le partager sur UA-cam. Donne ce drum à un débutant qui s'enregistre sur son téléphone et on verra le vrai son et la réalité de quelqu'un à low budget. Ceci étant dit, tu es vraiment impressionant au drum au point où je subcribe. Beau channel, top notch!
Hi Stephan, while I agree that this kit would sound considerably worse if you recorded with a smartphone (every kit on earth would actually), that was not the point of the video.
Point is: these entry level AQX drums & Agean Agora cymbals are indeed very affordable, yet you can get highly professional results, if you know how to tune & play properly.
I do video content for drum/cymbal & pro audio companies for a living actually. Without having played the drums for more than 30 years & having set up a professional studio environment in the past years, I wouldn't be getting any jobs obviously.
So no offense, I have no problem with shooting poor quality smartphone videos & putting them on UA-cam. Actually there are literally thousands of those around already, it's just not something I do ;-)

This is a great show with great equipment, the perfection in your drumming is awesome!! It's nice for the young drummer who starts drumming to can buy a good kit !!Nice sound pushes you to continue and loving the instrument!!

your mixing...wow is the same quality..your drumming....deep in balance,...just listen in my home studio, with a good acoustic, and via 2 Krk Rockit g5.....as near field ~~~~~~Monititors with a focal cub evo .
