Thanks 😀. That’s ewww too. I’ve had some like that before but not to the point I tossed them. I just don’t get how that much hair gets in the box do they leave the top off for a month and never clean lol. I don’t get it.
I wouldn’t toss a puzzle just because of some hair, but if it’s an allergy issue then obviously it’s best to get rid of it right away. You made the right choice.
Crazy how much people buy and never even use once! Glad those puzzles found their way to you and not some landfill. Great bargain too! Sorry to hear about your and your husband's health issues, hope you'll both be better soon! ❤️
Thanks Ross we are doing so much better but thanks so much the well wishes! Yes, I go to thrift stores all the time for puzzles and almost every time I walk away with at least one or two brand new never opened puzzles. I will purchase the brand new puzzles even if I do not care for the image or brand. I will find it a home with someone that will love it. :) Thanks much for commenting! Sue.
Hi! I'm not sure if you've already taken a look at that Clementoni puzzle, but, if you haven't, I just wanted to let you know that you shouldn't go crazy about Clementoni puzzles. I've done a few. They are really cheap in my country, Poland (comparably cheap to my local brands like Castorland and Trefl). And, they are not that high quality. They are definitely not worth paying $26 per one (that price is shocking, but, considering it had to cross the ocean to get to the US... well, shipping costs). I'm now doing a 2000-piece puzzle by Clementoni and it's ok, but, I do miss the quality of Ravensburger, Schmidt or Turkish Bluebird... I'm not sure if you can get Bluebird puzzles (produced in Turkey) in the US? If you can, try to get one. They are one of my favourite brands. Just be mindful - they are being produced in various countries and so, they are different quality. Look for the Turkish ones ;-) Anyway, I like your puzzle channel. Thank you for making puzzle brand reviews. Very often I am considering buying a puzzle from an unknown brand, and then I do some research, and your videos are really helpful, so thanks a lot!
Thanks so much for the information. I have not tried one yet. I bought that at a resale shop for 3.00 so I’m not out a lot of money. I buy brands I don’t know when I see them them there to try them out. But always acceptive of others views. 😀. I have heard of BlueBird but I do not own any yet. My favorites of common brands here are Ravensburger, Dowdle, and Cobble Hill.
Yes, yes, I know you paid $3 for that one and that's cool, but the original price is too high... Anyway, once I bought a 500-piece Cobble Hill puzzle and I really liked it. So, recently I purchased a 2000-piece "Rainbow" (Shelley Davies) Cobble Hill puzzle. I can't wait to do it :-) I managed to buy it only because there were huge New Year discounts in my favourite online puzzle store... Puzzles such as Cobble Hill, Cloudberries, Bits and Pieces, Galison or Eeboo are extremely expensive and/or hard to get in Poland :-( It's good that at least Ravensburger is a worldwide puzzle brand and you can buy it everywhere ;-)
@@martakulpa8372 well again I appreciate you telling me so I do not buy more of them. Shipping costs from anywhere these days is expensive, even in our same country. We just had an substantial increase. So if it’s not free shipping after a certain amount it’s not really worth the cost to ship it here. But like you said Ravensburger are everywhere so that’s good. 😀
I love thrifting puzzles too. Great way to save money and get a ton of puzzles for a good price. I also love swapping my puzzles with neighbors and people. I don’t donate my puzzles at thrift stores but always disclose my cats if I’m swapping/giving them away. Anyways, glad to have found another puzzle channel, feel free to check me out too. Take Care!
I’m already a subscriber of yours! I think I watched every video of yours last night when I couldn’t sleep. You collect a lot of different brands then me. I do buy new ones I’m really wanting like Dowdle, Ravensburger, Cobble Hill, and certain artists of Buffalo Games. I just recently found a pomegranate puzzle at a thrift store new and also a Eurographics! So excited to try those. I forget what your favorite was called going to have to go watch again! Just remember the pieces feel like suede. I’m in the United States in Utah, where are you? Oh and I have nothing against cats I love them my body just doesn’t! 🥰
Am the same I thrift 99% of my puzzles. I have to force myself not to go thrifting for puzzles because I always find so many and can’t resist getting them.
I wish you and your husband well. Always enjoy watching your videos.
Thanks so much Emma, I hope your and your family are doing well!
I had one puzzle with so much hair -people hair I couldn’t get passed it. I support your decision to toss!

I’m sorry people were upset you threw out the puzzle with cat hair. Silly. Thanks for sharing these.
Thanks, I have nothing against cats and said that in my post couldn’t believe the way some folks can be online. Appreciate you commenting 😀
Those are some good deals! 👍
... and you are very welcome!

I’m the same way. I do buy some new occasionally but mainly like Aimee Stewart puzzles as I collect hers and want them perfect. 🥰
Do you frame your puzzles?
I personally have not framed puzzles. I have glued them and hung them up unframed.
