During the dance break for a breathless breakdown section of the song set to an onstage strobe effect, Gaga audibly lets out a cry during a leg kick move and subsequently quite noticeably curtails much of the choreography for the remaining duration of the song, particularly evident during the kick-line style ending and her overall lack of much leg movement.
Breaks her fucking hip and proceeds to kill the choreography. She's the definition of a rock star.
She has no broken hip in this video .... she walked off stage .... ask any doctor or anyone that has broken a hip ... she wouldn't be dancing and walking off stage ... would have been carried off . May have had a sprain or pulled muscles ... no broken hip ... And I am a huge fan !!

That scream at 2:38 wasn't part of the show. As far as I know her, if she screams 'Yeah' that's part of the show, but her screams was a scream of a pain. I respect her so much for being so strong for her fans.

She screams all kinds of things during her shows, not just “yeah”. But this was legitimately pain. She has a different “performance” scream. Also, I saw the same show a few nights before, and she didn’t scream like that. She also didn’t stay kneeling as long, or pound her fists on the floor like she was upset. So many people think that all of this was part of the act, but it wasn’t.
Moments like this inspired Applause. She nearly broke her hip at the end of a year long tour, and backstage she was crying she was in so much pain. But she heard all her little monsters, and she realised that she lives to be there for the people who've supported her. She said about it in a commentary, "I heard them and I thought 'those little monsters are here for me, I'm going out there."

On the verge of crying because this is schooling for me as an aspiring performer. She almost broke her hip. She gathered her strength and made turned that utter pain into the emotion that those lyrics and notes needed for that moment. She has even more respect from me than she already does. She is a fighter. This is my first time seeing this footage btw. She handled that like nothing had happened at all.

I've broken my legs about 25 times, I should know.
That's also commendable. Those types of artists/performers are those who care about the customer/fans, and care about quality, no matter what they have to work with. Rain or shine, the ppl are getting their money's worth.

I’m not the biggest Gaga fan, I like some of her music, but this gives me a whole new perspective on how strong she is, I recently watched her documentary on Netflix and the fact that she’s in an unbearable amount of pain right now I. Because I have broken my legs more times than I can remember and either she didn't hurt herself (duh) or she is superman. Noone walks on a broken leg, either it hurts too much or, you know, your bone is in two pieces and your leg is flopping around.

The batteries die between 6 & 7 years of use. It’s so frustrating to not be able to do the things we want to. I was happy just to get downstairs and sit out on my porch this afternoon with the stray cats I feed. Gaga is such an inspiration to me too. I can’t imagine doing the things she does, knowing how much she’s really hurting. I felt the same way too about the pandemic - welcome to my life. Seriously, tho, take care and stay safe. idk how many people have said it already here but what makes this even more heart-breaking but inspiring at the same time is that, as she said, she was already in a lot of pain in the weeks BEFORE this happened, and she wasn't telling anybody that there was something wrong, she just kept going, until in the last few days before this, she was forced to go to the hospital to get it checked out. they told her she needed to rest, but she wanted to finish the entire tour first so she refused. and then THIS happened - this was just whatever was wrong FINALLY giving in, and she just kept going, and was crying about having to cancel the rest of the tour halfway through.
You know... her wish came true. In face of all the pain of her injury, she was strong without somebody there... in a sense.

Her hip had been hurting and it tore a little when she fell during poker face and it progressively got worse during the tour. The complicated strobe-light dance cause the tear the turn into a brake which is when she screamed. She pushed through it cause it was the last song and it was almost over. She ended up going to the hospital and they forced her to cancel the tour entirely because she had a hole in her hip the size of a quarter so they had to do surgery on it.

In second grade I was obsessed with this queen. My mom had got me tickets to her concert in Nashville. Then this happened. I didn’t quite understand what happened but my mom showed me this video and I was crying so much. The concert I was going to was cancelled along with the rest after that. Looking back years later, I’m still obsessed and I’m finally going to see her! I’m so happy.
