Some modders have been porting over the Fight Forever models into 2K23, and they look much better because of the lighting engine and texture filtering present. The modelers for the AEW video game are leagues beyond whoever was in charge of the other aspects of the game's visuals.
Why awe fight forever look like a cartoon. It's good buh damn

But for me, I care more about gameplay. So I don't care if these models were made out of Triangles, I NEVER want to deal with Breakers nor STUNS in a Wrestling game EVER AGAIN.
AEW graphics is like Def Jam

2K's face sculpts and tattoos are much cleaner. Take Big Show for example. He is missing tattoo pieces and his head sculpt is just bad in AEW.
The lighting and shadows look more realistic too.
2k took 2k14 from THQ because they got Bank corrupt and if they didn't get bank corrupt that game would be named WWE'14 and the games present today
Just imagine, if they have the budget that 2K have what they could do..
Still the games is better than 2k

it´s funny how many people say they go for the arcade style but even street fighter 5 from 2016 does not only looks better..... the movement is also sooooo much cleaner xD
I hate cm punks cheat tattoo in FFE. It looks horrible, they need to fix it n make it look like wwe2k15
Honestly doesn't bother me that much tbh. He's got so many tattoos that it's hard to care if one is slightly inaccurate due to copyright reasons.
Wwe looks authentic as Aew look like wwe battleground
2k easily, but Fight Forever was never wanting to go for realism, it has it's own art style.

If you're going for the arcade style and feel, you definitely will not go for the direction of realism

Honestly yeah, cause when you're on the main menu before selecting what match you want to play, the characters look STUNNING in that locker room in the background.
Los de AEW son muy buenos, si se parecen. Pero lo que falla es la textura de la piel, los hace ver muy artificiales. Si corrigen la textura de la piel a una realista, el juego tomara una mejor estética 🌚👍

I Miss Superstars In WWE
Arcade style shouldn’t be used as an excuse for less than stellar graphics, people should expect a certain standard of graphics on their 500 dollar machines in 2023, plenty of arcade games out there look amazing. Don’t have to look real but could still be far better
Used as an excuse? The game was intended to be like this. Just like the N64 games.

People are using false nostalgia to explain away obvious technical and developmental issues with this game. How can this game be like an arcade game when it is a port of an N64 game from when there were no wrestling arcade games (or arcades when Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy came out). They can try to explain the blocky models and inconsistent skins in striving to be an "arcade game," but the clipping and collision issues are just poor development.
The game looks fine . Not photo realistic like 2k no doubt . But the graphics are nothing to complain about. I have no issues with it. The AEW and WWE games are completely different. I like them both .

Aew feel like it’s just to cartoonish for me i don’t like it but that’s just my personal opinion
Honestly just got the game, besides people like Luchasaurus, Lance Archer, and Paul Wight (Big Show) feeling a bit too small for their sizes, the game aesthetically does not look all that cartoony to me. It feels like WWE 2K14 but upgraded with No Mercy like gameplay.

I agree I was hoping it would be sort of like the Smackdown Vs Raw games but it just seems too arcadey and the CAW suite just seems very lackluster

AEW faces look better like they have more expression, and emotion. 2k better in graphics and detail but their models, especially in the face look bland, bored, and robotic, emotionless. Look at the Ruby comparison…2k with AEW energy and vibe would be a great combo.

Graphic 2K and gameplay AEW
Graphics aren't everything, the point of video games is to have fun, but many of you are so focused on graphics,that when you get to play the game,its a real turd,like 2k22 or Cyberpunk 2077. But this seems to be an issue with the newer generation of players,that probably never got to enjoy WCW vs the World, WCW/NWO Revenge or the WWE games made by AKI/Asmik Ace and published by THQ.

@@kennythetrend3688look if you didnt like 2K22 thats like your bag man but I hadnt played a WWE game since 2K18 and 2K22 was bad ass, faster than before, gameplay was fantastic with the new combos and dodge and block. The game is one of the best in the genre.

Most of this are better in AEW... Except Punk. Not just because the versions are newer but because WWE models dor Cody, Cole and Jericho are just bad.
