High vs Low Kv Brushless Motor Comparison - Which motor is more efficient?

In this video we compare two brushless motors of equal diameter and length but with very different kv values. We alter the gearing in a way that allows both motors to operate with the same RPM at the wheels.
We confirm that we produce the same amount of wheel torque with both motor selections in order to achieve our target RC Car vehicle speed.
In order to look at the efficiency of both motors we look at copper losses and iron losses. These values tell the story and shed some more light on motor specifications and how they play a role in our application.
The entire video covers the problem from a theoretical perspective. I'd love to get a hold of the right motors to do a more complete display of efficiency from a real world perspective. Stay Tuned, at some point I'll figure out how to deliver the video.
