Very nicely done. I agree with you about Tamiya buff. It is one of their most useful colors for weathering and fading. I used some today on a Panzer IV interior. Looking forward to the next episode.

You can set bends in monofilament with heat, like from a hairdryer or heat gun. You can use flame, but, it’s too easy to melt it or give it a rough surface.
