My personal opinion, you're doing the right thing by not disclosing her location, there are enough bad people out there who would take advantage of her in some way that could not only be harmful to her but others around her regularly. She's a beautiful member of her species, well groomed and treated respectfully. Thank's for sharing.
Yet another of the many reasons that I believe that there is no other sport quite like Collage Football. These young men and women have to have balls of steel to run next to what is at the end of the day, though magnificent, still a wild animal.
Que bonito bufalo, supongo que los estudiantes para correr a lado de Ralphy deben tener ciertas velocidades deportivas. que bonita costumbre y bonito bufalo.
I remember living in Colorado in the 1970s and Chuck Fairbanks was the coach and the team was not doing very well, and there was a bumper sticker….Send Chuck to Fairbanks.
This is the most absolutely nuts tradition in College Football.Does anybody know if Ralphie ever got loose? If the runners ever trip That beast will drag then into the stands. An engenering student should know better than to mess with this big wild animal.
Yeah, great. But let's hear about Ralphie OFF the field. Is she let out of her stall? Does she have a field to graze in and move around? What's the story?
I'm not an authority on the manner of treatment they give "Ralphie", but it's my guess she's treated quite well and has her own pasture to roam around in freely.
The most important thing is that someday ralphie won't be around to run with so i know those students cherish Ralphie so much, if the animal is well taken care she would enjoy doing that all animals have feelings towards life and people so its never cruelty to Ralphie to go out and age peacefully and spiritually while having fun doing representing not only a school but the entire state as well.
You have no idea what you are talking about. This animal is treated better and more beloved than any domestic mascot in the world. BTW, it's Ralphie. A female. Do your research before you run your mouh
@@joshuamurphy944 it's really not cruel if the only thing you're doing is helping an animal run almost a lap every now and again to burn off some calories and such. If she was mistreated you would notice in her actions and her fur.

My God, this university is blessed. Ralphie is everything!
This has to be the coolest tradition in college sports.
1,200 lbs at 25 MPH dragging 4 college students. Love it.

Best. Mascot. Ever.
Nah. My high school. The Sleepy Hollow High Headless Horseman.
obvs
Love this and the video. I'm surprised though to not see Strongman equipment (also no use of it) in the weight room.
Best mascot in sports!
You must've never been to a Florida state game
@@marquezsmith8889 if the mascot is human, I don’t wanna here about it?
That's awesome
That looks scary but siiiiiiiiiiiick
The Ralphie handlers wear all western gear except for the boots...because they have to wear sneakers to keep up with a live buffalo.

The greatest mascot on all of college. Bama has nothing to compare to Ralphie

how do they get her to start running??? or how did they train her to run as soon as the gate opens?
2nd time watching this, are there students on some sort of court appointed work release? Doing this instead of time.
Nice
6:31 How does Ralphie decelerate that fast? The trailer isn't very big, not much room to stop.
That’s got to be such a rush to do that
Bad ass

A very cool mascot, much cooler than the blah, stand around and do nothing BEVO.
