Sir,so you mean to say that in air cooled chiller,there is only compressor and evaporator attached with each other in chiller room and the condensor and fan motor is outside the building or on the terrace?

No, All are attached. Evaporator, Compressor, Expansion valve, Condenser and fan motor these all are in single unit. All are attached in one unit.
Only in water cooled chiller, chiller will be in chiller room and cooling tower will be in terrace.

From Primary and Secondary pump the water goes to Chiller and Building. The water circulating in that loop. If water is needed in primary and secondary pump, the water will be added from Makeup tank. You can learn more in the Primary and Secondary pump video. The link is below.

Water cooled and Air cooled chiller are the most commonly used chiller and there are some different types of chillers also there.

There is a water tank you feed the water to the pipeline when the pressure reduces. The name of the water tank is make up water tank.
