Hey, don't forget to get pest control in your new house and ask them to block all the holes before you move in. Trust me way easier that way. I moved into my new build house some years ago and we did not think to do that.
Earlier this year for the first time we were struggling with mice.Pest control contractors had to put poison around the house before they were able to block the holes and pipes around the house and underneath the kitchen sink which was leading to outside the property. That is most commonly how mice/rats get in.
It was a nightmare for me before I got it all sorted. I thought mentioning it may help you guys as I seriously wish someone would have told me! Xx
I'm watching this whilst in a financially difficult season for my family and I right now (about to have 2 under 2 as well...yikes) but I am celebrating with you guys this is a big achievement, I've been a fan long before ya'll were even married. Hey y’all! I’m an interior designer in Texas. That wall in there is massive. It’s a perfect opportunity to add lighting such as sconces. I recommend doing some dimmable lighting so that you guys can adjust to the mood you are trying to create. Lamps of course (floor and table)

Get a Little Giant Ladder for sure they fold up so there super compact and when its fully extended it reaches around 22 ft if you need to get up that high. Also there are a bunch of great Irrigation systems where you can set an automatic watering they work really well you set it one time then you don't have to touch it again unless you want to change the Frequency of watering.
My girls love watching people play lol. That's all they watch, literally. Once in a while they will watch something else. Lately, they've been having so much fun attempting to reencting "playing babies" with each other and their dolls lol..they won't even ask to watch..it's almost like they watch to get ideas for a bit then all they do is reenact and play dollies with each other. Truly the sweetest and funniest thing to watch.
Get a decent step ladder for inside things and a big ladder for outside things.

I had my baby!! She was due 7/4 and was born 6/24/24!! Had yo share bc savannah and I were pregnant together at the same time with our unplanned but welcomed pregnancies!! I was also anemic this pregnancy and had no issues. My water broke at 5:29, had my baby at 5:59pm…quickest yet intense labor of my life!! But we did it and it was finished as quick as it got started

The lighting is builder grade. Most new builds unless you’re talking high dollar or custom you get lights, counter tops & cabinets that are builder grade. Culver’s is our Midwest “fast food” champion & I only get a kids meal ( come a/free ice cream)!

Watching at 2:48am during a Brest feeding session with my 2.5 day old! I was due 7/4 and my littlest bff came on 6/24! Thinking about Sav! I hope your delivery was as quick (but not as intense) as mine! They were trying to send me home saying I wasn’t dilated enough. While I was changing back into my clothes out the gown, I threw up, my water broke, my contractions were on full force and my baby was coming. Within 30mins my baby was out the womb and in the room looking at that nurse in her eye that was trying to send me home 🤦🏽♀️
