are these chemicals applied with a cold water system then washed with a unit equipped with a burner?

It can vary greatly, depending on what type of trucks are being washed, what chemicals are being used, and the outside factors (such as the temperature at the location, or even the temperature of the truck itself). You can 2-Step with only cold water, or with only warm water, but typically you don't mix.
Unless it is very hot out, it's typically best to 2-Step Wash with warm water, around 100-120F.

Hey what combo of two step are you using I get my chemicals from Hydro Chem but I haven’t been able to get that type of results
