Come join me as I hang out at the Hard Rock!
I received a comp 2 night stay and stayed in a corner room in the north tower.
We are going to hit the 🎰 slots, hang out in the lobby bar and take a walk to resorts to see where the fire was and the Christmas decorations.
We will also take a walk to the Irish Pub!
A must see if you love Christmas time!

I live in AC. Bean to the Irish Pub twice. The food is absolutely awful. It is interesting historically but really the food is just horrendous unless you're drunk.

Jennifer, super job!!!! the first time i went to Resorts (the only casino at the time) men had to wear a jacket to get in no matter what the temp was. Love the Irish Bar what a Christmas wonderland

Yea the Irish pub was a must for me! What a gem 💎 that’s something about resorts and how men needed to wear jackets. A lot has changed for sure!
Every time I go to Hard Rock I get a White House Sub even when it was the Taj Mahal I would get one and yes it was there even before Hard Rock. Actually I would wait outside the original location for a long time to eat a White House Sub back in the late1970's. I have not stayed at Hard Rock yet but did stay in the North Tower when it was the Taj Mahal and the rooms look pretty much the same and I also like the North Tower best of all. I also spent time at the Lobby Bar as I mentioned before in one of your videos. Also mentioned that I waited in line for hours when Resorts opened as the first casino in Atlantic City. Yes I am an old timer but I was pretty young back at that time. Glad you showed the Irish Pub as I have never been there even with all the times I have been to Atlantic City. My Dad just recently passed away so I understood those emotions and memories you have of your Dad. Thanks for another great video and so good to see you have those big hits on the slots.

@@JenniferSparksSavoy Yes it was madness. 3 to 4 deep on the games and shoulder to shoulder walking around it was that packed which is why we didn't stay long but was a great historic moment. There wasn't cell phones back then so not like today where everyone has a camera but would have been great to have video on it.

Yes it was fun, a real neighborhood place. It is reopening as Kings Pub but I haven't seen it open yet
Looks like Resorts exterior took a beating. Looks great inside though. Its tough already with HR and Ocean stealing all the thunder from the other casinos. Irish Pub is always meticulously decorated, even without Christmas. Subs for me. Also, Porkroll not Taylor ham. 😅😅
Ohhh is that what pork roll is? Ham? Didn’t know that it seems to be on quite a few menus in AC! Yea it’s was eerie to see the fire I watched it when it was happening on the news. So glad it didn’t do more damage it’s a beautiful resorts. Had dinner last night at Capriccios..OMG loved it! Thank you for hanging out with me ❤️

I'm not sure if they still do, you used to be able to stay upstairs they had rooms at the Irish pub , I think it was a shared bath type of place, liked the stories about your dad. good video.

Oh def! Less people approaching you too. No street hustlers here. Like every city it has sketchy areas but the resort areas are fine. I travel alone often too :)
I live in AC. No, it is not always safe. It is the most violent city in the 4th most violent state, according to FBI statistics.

Aren’t they fun!? No they don’t have too many trademark games there. Only have seen Willie at hard rock, Borgata and Ballys
Theres something off at The Hard Rock.....the rooms are very nice after that the property is severly lacking.They need to do a better job with their restaurants.and dining options.I think they all basically suck.The coffee shop is ok.Everything else is a disaster.They need a really cool bar near the boardwalk at least

Would like to stay here or at resorts. It's in the middle of the boardwalk. Ocean Resorts is close by as is Bally's. Video Poker is a good game. It has higher winning percentage than regular slot machines. Those things are called a sandwich. Haven't found the indoor walkway. Resorts was first bought by Donald J. Trump.
I did not know trump once owned resorts. I keep learning from you! Yea I have been enjoying video poker I’ve been playing deuces wild seems to do better for me than jacks or better does

When he wanted to build a fourth Hotel/Casino the Atlantic City council passed a law that no corporation or single person can own more than three hotel/casinos. At the time Trump and Wynn were buying up properties. I like VP. I play the Jacks or better. Play whichever game you feel more comfortable with.
