Such a great set of books, Milena! Thank you so much for letting us know about Miranda, I just watched the first episode and laughed so hard. I just love her, what a talent! I know what I’ll be doing this week. 😊
I’ll have to look for the book on chronic illness, and read Miranda’s as well. I think invisible illness is the hardest socially. I have end stage renal disease, which means I’m always exhausted, but I look perfectly healthy. It’s so hard telling friends and family I can’t see them because I exhausted myself grocery shopping… Not that I want people to think I look sick, but it might make this easier to understand. I’m sorry for what you’ve been through, it makes the fact you’re able to run a business even more amazing!

@@Elizabeth-Reads I hope Miranda gives you some much needed joy! I’ve struggled with that myself as well, the constant ‘proving’ that you’re sick is so exhausting.

Thank you for talking about chronic illness! ❤️ I very much recognize what you said about the attitudes people have towards chronically ill people, it’s the same in my country 😔 I have Hashimotos disease (hypothyroidism), and I often feel like we do not only have to fight our own bodies just to exist and have an ok life, but we also have to contend with ignorant people telling us what to do…

@@kriskringlereads I have the same auto-immune disease, that’s what started it all for me. I’m so sorry you have to deal with this as well. Thank you for leaving a comment 💛

I've been reading Virginia Woolf every year. But it's really breaking my heart that I probably won't be able to do it this year as it's impossible for me to read anything physically and that's the only way I can go into VW's works. :( Having said that I'm really excited for The Return of The Native in audiobook form as it's narrated by Snape ❤

@@ewelinahernon6556 I’m so sorry you’re struggling with physical reading this year. I’ve read Woolf through audio due to similar issues; but that only really works for rereads. I agree that her work needs eyeballs 😔 Ah; Yes, I’ll also be listening to Snape’s version, haha.

As the song says, "each time I find myself flat on my face, I just pick myself up and get back in the race".🤕
