WOOOOO SAPNAP SONG Sapnap songs are so rare even though he's connected to almost every single storyline, I mean like •His adopted father is possessed by an egg •His best friend is in jail •His other best friend doesn't wake up for anything •One of his fiances is creating a ripoff Las Vegas •The other fiance has some kind of time-traveller's dementia and honestly might still be at the Other Side it's kinda unclear He's pretty much been abandoned by everyone and is connected to so many storylines, yet somehow has only three songs including this one which I know is going to be a bop.
Despite how calm this song sounds, it's like I can really feel the anger coming from Sapnap, I love it :) I think this moment has been really neglected by dsmp watchers, and while, from watching Sapnap's vods, he doesn't seem all that angry, I think that this song really describes how he *should* be feeling. I absolutely love all the attention you put on Sapnap's now tense relationship with Dream, it's incredible.
Hearing sapnap say that he would kill Dream if he left the prison ;-; its so much sadder now that Dream is being tortured daily without anyone other than like techno and people knowing. Like maybe Dream would daydream about freedom and then think about how even out there he’d get hunted by his old best friend
I feel this whenever I see the Dream Team. In a story they're like this, Dream is the head and leader while Sapnap is his right hand man who was always by his side and fought side by side with him, who always wanted to get Dream's praise and approval and yet there's George who although has done something's pales in comparison to what Sapnap has done for Dream. And yet Dream highly favors George which slowly infuriates Sapnap. Edit: But I do think there's more to it than what meets the eye. Dream is a mastermind so he plans five steps ahead so it's been proven that everything was planned from the beginning to the end, and the only people other than Dream who knew was Punz. I think Dream is trying to severe his relationship with George and Sapnap as much as possible so that they will be less affected for whatever he does. That's why Dream is very cautious about someone finding out Punz is with him in the act because he doesn't want Punz getting affected either.
I absolutely adore this, dude. The bitterness, the metaphors and messages, just *mwah 🤌* Showing that Sapnap has done so much more than George, stuck by Dream's side, and yet he wasn't even slightly happy that Sapnap visited him. And just, how absolutely perfect this song shows how all of Dream's friends were pushed away, and now he's getting a taste of his own medicine for once. Amazing song, once again!
