- Friends and family of Kristine Melton and Diane Ruiz testified on Monday during the sentencing phase of Wade Wilson’s trial. The Florida man was convicted of murdering both women in Cape Coral, targeting Melton at a bar and Ruiz on her way to work. While listening to their testimony, Wilson remained emotionless, occasionally looking around the courtroom and gallery.
