I am a surfer from way back and got to surf next to Kelly slater the year before he turned Pro. We are the same age and I idolized him then. I watched him shred a wave north side of Huntington pier warming up for one of his last amateur events.. I will never forget it.
Yeah, but the fun of bodyboarding is not having to jump over the kooks. It won't hurt your board if you plow them into the sand, like they deserve for paddling out through the rider's right of way.
