How do you think this stacks up to the D2 or Manticore?

@@vetdetect well I will try to cover what I can answering this. Nexus is totally different, a different platform, induction balance analog. They unmask in iron pollution incredibly and depending which coils you use you can go extremely deep. I have found a pulltab approximately 2 feet 6KHZ 13 inch DD. Yeah I know, no one cares about a pulltab but if you’re not digging that signal, you could miss gold jewelry. Nexus offers an incredible array of coils check out some of the Nexus videos and Paul Warren’s videos with Nexus. There are videos that show extremely deep Roman coins found and other items, etc. some targets Paul diggs are so deep. He uses a fisher F 75 with a small coil on it to help as a pin pointer to dig a deeper hole when targets are beyond the capability of a Garrett carrot.
How it stacks up to D2 and manticore? Again different platform, different type of machine. I also use an XPD2 for many situations and have all three coils. It is a great all-around machine, especially for water hunting. Nexus machines are not waterproof. Digital machines are all pretty much the same except for the D2 and the manticore but let’s face it. The manticore really is just a CTX 3030 merged with an equinox just more light weight with some other changes to it. I prefer XP over Minelab but, I’m not getting into a debate over what is better and what is not. I can care less what anyone swings, but I am a firm believer that there is no one tool that can do everything. Nexus is a tool for going deep and major unmasking, it also has incredible separation speed.
Sorry if I’m not much help, but I’m not going to say one machine is better than the other depends upon the type of sites you hunt and the type of tools you need to get the most out of thesites you hunt. Again watch Nexus videos and Paul Warren channel for more detailed Information.
Don’t get caught up in the digital is best for everything debate… make up your own mind educate yourself but most of all have fun . 👍👍

@@DigginDude-vt8sx thank you for the information. I hunt old iron sites and from the few videos I have seen it appears to be a beast in the old iron.

@@vetdetect yes it is a beast in old iron sites. I am finding it very clean to hunt with an old iron sites, but you can only find what is still there. I will say I prefer to use the Nexus in heavy iron over my XPD2. Another thing I forgot to mention about Nexus is it is freaking quiet around EMI.
These are my opinions and experiences, and I’m not putting down any machine or company. I say that because I don’t want to get in a debate with anyone over their favorite machine. There is a place for Nexus in my hunting, just being in tune with the analog tones has helped make me a better Detectorist.

I have not tried a Tesoro yet. I have recently acquired a compadre and plan on trying it at a park when I have the time. Right now I’ve been having a great time learning my first analog machines, Nexus V2 & V3. Thanks for stopping by my channel I appreciate it! 😀
