Excellent cover of this little-known Dylan song. Knightly gets the tone and passion just right. Why I wasn't paying attention when this song was first released, I'll never know.
@wwleslie in retrospect many are probably wondering the same thing.. but beginning in the late 70s his albums were being produced with very little imagination. the melodies and lyrics were generally up to par but street legal, infidels, and so many others continuing straight though the early 80s and empire burlesque were all rather bland sounding despite many outstanding compositions. the disco era had the record labels of older acts taking short cuts or taking pay cuts. a lot of junk. incl bob
