    Wow they have a similar sound to pearl jam. And to think this was one of many great Aussie acts around. Love this band. Heard about them through Aussie FB group. Pearl Jam sound influenced by this band.

      Not sure Buffalo would have influenced PJ, as Buffalo's records weren't available in the US. Most Oz rock acts' LPs weren't available. We were lucky to get Dirty Deeds on import in 76, or the Tatts or Angels albums on Alberts in 1978-79, and even the Skyhooks' Oz LPs were rare here. And those albums were only available on import, and they were rare. But the sound is somewhat similar, true. The tone that PJ got from their rigs does resemble the loud blast these guys got from their Australian made amplifiers, one of which looks on this vid like it might be a Strauss -- a popular Oz amp at the time, used by Billy Thorpe, Lobby Loyde, and a few other Oz rock acts from the early 70s. The Strauss amps seem to have a grunge-like, bluesy sound.
