When u talked about the computer passwords I do think the 5 letter one is Oscar and the 8 letter one is Montague to fully explain my theory on this. And peely might be taken into the edge of the island with Peter griffin while Oscar is trying to move him. Midas wouldn't exist in this universe because the shark he was eaten by was killed meaning that I'd he lived it would be a miracle

Really love how they’re hinting more and more towards Midas return. Really loved the early ch 2 era story especially with Ego and alter, Chaos agent (would be great to return) and Midas especially so it’s Great they’re sort of calling back to it in ch 5.

I had similar thoughts on this, also thinking that Midas is controlling things things from the background and all that. Being that the chapter 5 map is likely just a altered version of Chapter 2's map, events may more or less play out close to the same way, though with things changed around to make it very different, yet the same. If we are getting a newer version of the floor is lava gamemode we had in chapter 2, we will get events that more or less play out like they did in chapter 2, just different.
At 0:40 I agree that they didn’t capture peely to see the future but to confirm that, if you remember in chapter 3 season 2 jones tells us that peely drank a banana smoothie and he saw visions probably about the mech failing in collision so he needed to prepare by learning to drive

Also in the midnight duelist Nisha loading screen you can see peely holding a flow Barry jug or however it is called with the Nisha bodyguards trying to stop him and Nisha holding her forehead.

Montague is midas, brother. That's why they are so similar (cuts on his eye, turns all diamond instead of gold, has cat/human henchmen, uses extravagant settings.) ALSO he started an organization identical to midas's organization. I think Montague is trying to bring midas back, and he knows that Jones knows about midas (because Jones is doing deep research on midas), so he took peely for midas. 👀👀👀👀 just a thought

The Marigold and Midas theory is actually incorrect, because Marigold is Jules from Chapter 2 Season 3. Jules is Midas's daughter and somehow Jules got the curse too (Golden Touch) Marigold was another name for Jules what Midas gave her, still no idea how Jules got the golden touch, maybe it will be revealed in a future season and Jules brings back the shadow and ghost members to the island to stop the last reality because they are still here and the Cube Queen was spotted from a distance in CHapter 3 ( But that might have been a tease and not real and Donald Mustard was just tricking us to make us think that she was on the map, on Chapter 3 Season 4 she was not spotted anymore. The Herald is part of the nothing (THe Herald is the villian of Season 3 and Season 4 in CHapter 3) and The Nothing is a part of The Last Reality which means that The Herald is old friends with The Last Reality and exposed the zero point during the Fracture event for The Last Reality to steal the zero point but the zero point shoot at the mothership coming to pick it up by using a zero shockwave (I made the "Zero Shockwave" thing up because it sounds cool) and so the zero point drove away and we started building the Chapter 4 map. (Also any idea on where The Paradigm went? I miss her)

The idea of Midas return is very interesting because there is quite a lot of stuff from chapter 2 season 2 hidden around this map and the society logo also being Two golden hands and a all seeing eyes so this theory could be true about Midas coming back

Honestly id say that jones would never give the zp to anyone to keep it from the wrong ppl. We see this in the trailer too as he prepped up and actively fighting the society. Now why would he fight them if he was gonna trade with them?
On another note i think the society keeps moving peely to keep him away from jones while peely actively pisses off the members (also seen in a loading screen) and make holding him a challange.
As for midas this feels like chapter 2 in a sense. New map (layout is similar to chapter 2 but rotated 90 degrees) with a never before seen mechanic ingame (like fishing was and now gun mods), new characters that are part of a "secret" organisation (like E.G.O later Ghost) and hints of our man of gold returning with possibly a new plan? *insert bttf "hey ive seen this before!" scene*

The society Vs underground could also be a callback to ghost Vs shadow (I'm not too sure on names since I never played ch2)

We never saw Midas really going after the zero point in chapter 2 season 2 because the agency was conveniently built in the middle of the map where the zero point was underground. So Midas harnessed its power because he already had control over where the zero point was in chapter 2.I also feel Midas will join the Society, but it will be later on because I feel he already knows where the zero point is on the chapter 5 map.I feel that somehow Midas got back from chapter 2 and knows exactly how the energy feels of the zero point.And since this map is probably an altered version of chapter 2, the lake near the middle of the map probably holds the zero point. But after Midas and The Society find the zero point,Midas will betray the society and harness the power of the zero point himself. And this could lead into the floor is lava game mode I guess and it could be some mid-season revelation where Midas makes outposts to take control of the island once again.

Would make sense since last time he accidentally caused a floid if water but this time with lava. As for the betraying its possible since from character lines we know that even jules (his own cannon daughter) is sick of his plans and wanted nothing to do with him anymore
I think peelys just pissing the society off because in one of mishaps loading screens you can see peely using the weird flower jug thing and Noah’s facepalming, also you can find peelys chair in snooty steps and reckless railways, but the reckless railways one is his chair in the loading screens, so I think they are moving him and putting the peels there just in case anyone tries to save him

I think instead of the logins being midas and marigold, it could be midas and montegue(idk how to spell it) but it would make sense bc in a loading screen it shows montegue on the yacht and it looks like the midas login was the one last used. So maybe midas is like the big villian as in hes taking intel and stuff from the society and hes planning something even bigger. But thats just a theory.. A FN THEORY

I feel like Jones will tell the location of the Zero Point but he actually won't because he'll go to the location of where Peely is and the Society will give him Peely and Jones will start to say the location of the Zero Point telling the location is and then Jones will run off with Peely and the Society will go after Jones but Jones will loose them by going into the Underground base with Peely and Jones and Peely and the rest of the Underground will get ready to actually fight the Society and Jones will finally find Slone and Slone will join the Underground and Jones and Slone will recruit others to join the Underground meanwhile the Society are also doing the same but they now have a new plan to capture Jones this time to tell the Society where the Zero Point is and if Jones doesn't the Society kills him meanwhile Jones and Slone will keep on recruiting others to grow the Underground and then they'll find the Foundation because it looks like Jones is looking for him and then the Foundation will join the Underground starting season 2 called the War for the Zero Point where the battle pass will include a new version of Slone with her description saying she shows her alegance to Jones and the Underground and all the new Underground and Society members

My theory is that Jones might know where the Time Machine may be and the rocket.He will travel to the chapter 4 map in the rocket and meet up with the heist crew and hire them to get peely back as we never really saw the heist crew as we never saw much of them

Well in the actual legend of Midas in that story midas was a rich man living with his daughter named MARIGOLD and he was greedy that he wished that everything he touched turns to gold and he touched his stuff turning into gold but he couldnt eat due to the golden touch and eventually he touched his daugher by kissing her head turning her into gold but at the end everything went back to normal after the curse was taken away

tbh i think we dont have the zero point anymore after the big bang i think in the event the zero point broke and released all the universes thats why have these new universes
its not a alternate reality is a another reality and remember the seven is still gone so i think this time the last reality found this reality we are in now and the last reality is trying to make jones evil so evil jones to destroy the reality also the whole midas thing i think midas is a good guy he was trying to break the loop so we can all go home and in chapter 3 season 4 if you the fortnite story line quest jones talks about the loop breaking project which midas was involed with the project(also great video but this feels more like a theroy then a reality anyways keep it up and no hate)

From what I can tell, even though I only joined in CH2S4, this season seems like a parody of CH2S2. There is a group of people, who are fighting against others for control of the island, with the bosses somewhat relating to the CH2 ones. Oscar is Meowscules, Peter is Brutus, Nisha is TnTina, Valeri is Skye, and Montague is Midas. What if the zeropoint follows a similar structural path in every reality it makes, and the next few seasons are based on say the flooded season or the zero point season. Maybe the last reality will roll up for an invasion/chrome season. I feel like that could be cool.
I really hope they make this an 8 season/10 season chapter tbh, but i feel like CH5S2 will be more like CH2S2 since i assume they'd want midas to be in a batttlepass

I have a theory that there was a war at ruined reels between the society and the underground and that’s why ruined reals is destroyed. I also believe that the ruined reals use to be a society location based on the Greek architecture.

Also another big hint is the theme of this season and the island, which has a crime/European theme which fits perfectly to Midas who is a mafia boss inspired by Greek mythology. Also one of the survey shows us we are propably getting a Greek themed season.
