- Villarreal was the surprise of this Champions League season, defeating European giants Juventus and Bayern Munich after the group stage with exciting football. With the likes of Danjuma, Gerard Moreno and Parejo, this team has the real fighting spirit besides the class and skills they possess on the field. The team from a small village in Spain was unable to beat Liverpool in the semi final but what a battle and a joy it was to watch this team perform this year. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it!

as a Villarreal fan , i'm glad we've got ourselves a manager like Emery . and i'm sure with just 2 or 3 players we would have done a better job .
the injuries and the bad finishing from some of our players stopped us from reaching the final . but i'm proud of my team anyways .

The thing that Emery has done in Europe it’s amazing. 5th times champions of Europe League with Sevilla, Europe League Champions with Villarreal and taking Villarreal to champions league semifinals, knocking out Juventus and Bayern. Not everyone does that👏
And a fun fact: Villarreal is the European smallest city to win a European Trophy.

I love Villareal, so much talent, they showed you don’t have to be giant to make a huge impact on the game. They aren’t the same this season, starting out strong by beating Atletico, but without Emery, they just can’t find the net 😭. I wish him luck with the other Villa though, he’s a spectacle of a manager
I hope that with the new format of the Champions League there will still be sensations like Villarreal, Monaco, Ajax... although I have a really bad feeling about it.
