Today we bring to you the only Zoo in Mumbai - Veer Mata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan. This zoo has many names like the Mumbai zoo, Byculla zoo since it is situated in Byculla and the most famous name given is Ranichi baug.
This zoo is very old but it has changed and evolved with time. The recent renovations have brought about a beautiful transformation in the zoo.
It has certainly got a modern day touch to it.
The animals here are well fed and looked after with care. It is not always possible to find all the animals active all the time. So please don't get disappointed if the animals are not active.
