    Yay! You didn't say gorjay! As a person who studied military history and use by native americans during the colonial period I have been puzzled by the sallay gorjay etc instead of sallet or gorget in hema.

      Honestly didn't know that neither word was used by the French until I looked it up just now. They both look sort of French and it certainly isn't uncommon to find French words in other European languages. You learn something every day.
