Rose Levy Beranbaum also wrote an excellent pie book back in the 90s ‘The Pie and Pastry Bible’. It might be out of print but I stumbled on a second hand copy a couple years back and it changed my life. Erin is definitely a credit to her wonderful mentor.
I made a "Rocky's Road" no churn ice cream one year for my husband Rocky's birthday. He likes dark chocolate and spicy food so I used dark cocoa, dark chocolate chips, marshmallows, cayenne pepper and this weird spicy Kahlua I had been given as a gag gift. It was so yummy, and enjoyably tingly!
I use to make a double white chocolate ice cream. I would use real white chocolate (cocoa-butter) not the palm oil chips. I used a freeze churner - close to it being finished I would add in chopped white chocolate. Some times I would add in Almonds or Pecans.
Your videos are great, but in these two ice cream videos, you covered way too much; so I learned very little about HOW TO MAKE ice cream. These 2 videos are about ice cream, not how to make ice cream. Please make a detailed video about how to make 1-2 types of ice cream. Thanks. 🍧
