If Bizhamov can fight more like he did in that second round, it would be lovely. I remember him being the talk of the 2018 World Youth Championships, and I was one of the people impressed with him. Although he's had success since going to the senior ranks, I have felt like he's missing a thing or two; becoming more defensively responsible being one of them. He has nice reflexes but needs to sharpen up.
I’m surprised they didn’t stop that with how bad Bizhamov’s ear looked there. It proved to be the right call though.
