Unless you live in America, everything works back to front, esp for minority groups.
Take the redistricting rules for Texas, makes zero sense, but can be explained if you live in a American red state.
Dems need a majority in congress to fix alot of Americas problems, esp the police immunity defence.

A big part of the problem is an abuse of Union protections. And not just in law enforcement. In all kinds of industries, there are individuals that need to be fired, but because of the hurdles of Unions, these people are still on the job, and employers are hamstrung. In excessive force cases, 'qualified immunity' should be deemed as unlawful, as it effectively ignores assault laws and protects officers that deliberately break assault laws knowing they'll get away with it because of that very 'qualified immunity' clause. Congress needs to grow some balls as does the DOJ and say that breaking the law is breaking the law. Period.

Yet Russian police have far less qualified immunity (if any) than USA police. That's why they acted far more professionally in their breakup of the Navalny protests than our police have been in their put-down of the BLM protests.

We need an agency with independent investigators and prosecutors in each state, provided with sufficient authority, and devoted solely to cases of alleged police wrongdoing, where citizens can file complaints and public records are kept of the complaints, the officer(s) involved, investigation status, findings, and outcomes.

And if you file suit against both, pray your claim against the government succeeds otherwise you're screwed. ( _Brownback v King_ )
