He isn't "dragging" anything. He is eleveating everyone to play on the level they should be. This team was always scrappy and had close games last season. All they needed was the right coaching staff and QB. They will win the Superbowl and shut the haters up this year.

If I recall correctly, the media had them dead last in every category with possibly winning 2-4 games this year. #1 I somewhat agree with because the media was all over the place on Stroud. From #1 to #2 to possible falling further. #2 There is no guarantee a first time head coach will be the answer. Although Im very happy to see that the coaching is superb thus far. #3 The GM was going to be on the hot seat if he didnt hit on this draft. His previous drafts were not good but he got a pass since there was not much draft capital left after Bill No Brien. Alos, I think DeMeco had a say so in the draft so it was a team effort and hopefully the GM and Coach are on the same page. #4 The texans do not have a great history as a franchise and when they seemed to be down and out, the media easily had them last on every category despite their 2 - 1st round picks. It wasnt until they got CJ and Anderson that the media started paying attention. And even then, they still had them winning 4 games and last on everything citing that most rookie players dont pan out until their 2nd or 3rd year. #5 Slowik does not have much experience so there was no guarantee that would pan out either. It seems all the pieces are falling into place perfectly and its great to see that for the Texans. They are finally making all the right moves and the coaching is great.
