I know it wont happen but part of me is hoping epic hires leth for almost any department. Mans done so much for the community in so many different ways and would be an amazing asset for them
Yeah imagine, i've been saying this since epic took over.. It won't happen sadly, they obviously see his work and they do not want the game to thrive that's my opinion, I think they genuinely want it to die.
Pretty sure they just let off like 800 staff so yeah I don’t see that happening.

If content creators can stop promoting new items in the game, focus on gameplay, and encourage people to just play without buying.

Unfortunately a big amount of players are buying stuff. Look at the McQueen bundle, like 50% of gold-gc bought this bundle. There is not a single match without a mcqueen car, kachow goal expl or the song or whatever of that bundle

Would it have hurt them to keep dropshot as a full time mode? Actually curious. I know it was one of the least played modes, but it was pretty fun. A lot better than Snow Day. I have a friend who only came on to play dropshot.
