I made this card this past weekend. The last part where you put the vase in had me really challenged! It took several tries and hours later but finally got it to work. The card is gorgeous, I made two because I knew I wanted to keep one for myself. The person I made one for was quite blown away. Thank you 😊
It was difficult to show that part properly because as you do it the card has to be closed before the tabs are attached. But so happy it worked out. It makes a beautiful card !
Oh, Kelly, this is a fascinating card!!! Your color choices are perfect!! This is truly a “Labor of Love”! Thank you for a fantastic tutorial. I look forward to giving this a try. Hugs, Karen.❌💖❌🌸❌
You won me over with this one! New subbie and I will make this for bosses day that will be on Tuesday!!! Looks like I"ll be making them for mothers day too if I can do a good job on my bosses card! Thank you so much!! I've saved it to my special cards playlist. 🙂
Thank you for the tutorial! The card in deed is very pretty. Can’t wait to try. Can be given for any occasion! May ask do you have a die name for the tiny branches ?
Hi, I had a comment from you telling me to take my negativity somewhere else. I just wanted to say that I am totally with you on this. Kelly seems to be the original designer of this card and I have seen others do it but not acknowledge where they got the idea from. It’s 😔 sad
Hello, I am also from Michigan. Battle Creek in the Southwest of Michigan. nice to meet you. I love this card and wonder if something similar can be done using butterflies and ladybugs as my Granddaughters birthday is coming up and she loves flowers, butterflies and ladybugs
Absolutely love this video and you are so talented at what you do. Hopefully the algorithm gets this video a lot of views because you deserve it for all the hard work! 😊
Took me awhile to figure this out. Finally made a one piece pattern. It is 2 1/4" x 7 3/4" . So there is only 2 pieces inside the card. Then did 3/4" scoring on each side. Now I need to make a real card ! I like the blue card best.
Lovely card and video..Thankyou for showing that even demonstrators can get it a bit wrong at times..it would of been easier for you to edit your mistakes out, but it’s good you didn’t. Just shows us who are not so clever that we all do it wrong at times..cheers for that...
You could put it instead but it kinda sides till it is completely closed , and you don’t want glue to catch as you open and close. But use whatever works best for you 😊
The last part of putting the vase together - you have to make sure when you close the card - your vase part is laying flat. That’s the tricky part and keep it even. Practice with scrap paper
Wow, nice card, but a lot of errors makes it confusing . I notice in final card the hinge is stuck to the back of white paper, the instructions say glue to front of paper. Maybe scrap this and do a new video. Sam Callcot explains it better but yours uses a little less paper which I prefer . Still love the card though.
Thank you for posting this video! Can you please confirm is this for an A2 size card? (4.25"x5.5") My vase sticks outside the folded card by about 1/4". I could see in the video what base card size you were using.
I am not sure if someone else created it but I did this design on a video a few years ago , pansy pop up vase card. So I just recreated with the Cheerful Daisies
I am disappointed by your instructions. I spent a great deal of time and materials only to find that you announced your errors. Why not reshoot and post an accurate project? It was unfair. The project seemed to have such potential.
@@slatie1 sorry. I was going to make another video, just haven’t had time. I did make a different video using same technique- might be better to understand.
I've made this card several times for family members, and it's been a hit every time. It really has that "WOW" factor. Thanks for sharing yours!
It is a great card design , and once you make it , it’s pretty easy. Thanks for watching
Beautiful card.

What a great idea! Thank you ❤️
So hard to do things live on camera. Great Video Thank you. What color was it that you used for the leaves on the front?
I used the copper clay, but made another card and used granny Apple green- I like it better
This card is perfect for Mother’s Day! Thank you!
Definitely for someone very special!

Lol your right I could edit mistakes out, but nice to know how to fix them as well.
🥰beautiful🥰

Hi Kelly! Thanks for sharing this card technique! Is there written directions. I'm older and still prefer instructions in writing.
I am attempting to make this for my Aunt for her birthday
Awesome
Yes very cute 😊
Thank you
Maybe putting a little glue stick to your score tape when you shut your card will help you in your placement.
You could put it instead but it kinda sides till it is completely closed , and you don’t want glue to catch as you open and close. But use whatever works best for you 😊
WOW 🤩
I cannot gety mechanism to pull the vase part into a curve. What amI doing wrong?
Are there written instructions and/or with the measurements listen anywhere?
I did not make a pdf - but at the end I do repeat the vase measurements for you in the video
Very cute card. You’re off camera though when putting card together sometimes.
Sorry
love the idea of this but I couldn't get it to work.

Is the Cheerful Daisies currently available?

In Atlanta Michigan? I’m still meeting people up here🙂

The hinge is suppose to be on the white paper, that how it opens to be a vase
