They are not the FBI. The FBI doesn't kidnap U.S. citizens in the middle of the night on U.S. soil put them in a hood and take them to a black site, Even in the movies. It's probably the NSA or CIA. It probably had to do with the Chinese mob guy Ming, they were just unalive. It's been a known thing for a long time that the Chinese government works with the Chinese mob.
I think the ending has something to do with thresher, think it may of been even his voice but in a different tone. could be possible he was undercover as he hever killed anyone nor got his hands dirty, he just spoke and other ppl pulled the trigger so to speak. ...so yeahh that's my guess.
I have a pretty interesting theory, and that theory is simply the Cia. They worked with criminals a few times if it benefits to have at least a criminal order they can control. The already know that the Triads tried to get a foot into the business but what we still don't know is who the person was who brought the illegal immigrants they had into the states, so there's the option the so-called,, Boss,, that got killed wasn't the real head of the operation, the other option that's possible is the cartel. Tulsa is directly next to Texas which is directly at the Mexican border, so it wouldn't be surprising if the plot of the next season would be the Cia helping Dwight to establish a controllable network to stop a positive takeover by a cartel. The thing about Dwight is that he is clearly more of a businessman than the other guys, and of course much easier to control because he has family.
that doesn't make sense. CIA operates on things Outside the US, that is the law. It could be ATF or another Intel agency. We know it's not the FBI because in a scene towards the end, the FBI are having a meeting when someone 'from DC' requests all information on Dwight. Then Dwight is kidnapped, black-bagged and brought to a black site.
No he is not. Remember the scene where Thresher told Kansas City it was Ming who was behind the car bombing that almost killed Tyson's dad ? Clearly by the end of that scene, there was a shot under Kansas City's table that shows what looks like a bug... They been on Kansas City.. My guess is Kansas City is a informant who gone rogue and now they need Dwight to work for them to take down Kansas City OR Kansas City and both Dwight are in trouble and they been on to them both BUT at the end of Episode 10 they told Dwight he is working for them now so my guess is, Dwight must cooperate with the CIA to take down Kansas City.. Thresher is gone and wont be back for season 3
@@Tyshawn-yg5mn Thresher has connections with corrupt law enforcement. This was established in kin the second episode when we saw that he that the U.S. attorney was in his pocket. That same U.S. attorney also said that he was well aware of Manfredi. Threscher may have left but let's not forget that Bill's house was bugged and he openly discussed killing Threscher after resolving the issues with Manfredi before planning the hit on Ming (Bill promised his crew that he would take out Threscher). It's very likely that Threscher's contacts tipped him off about Bill wanting to get rid of Threscher and could have easily set up that raid on Manfredi.

If you watch the scene it’s quite clear that the guy told Dwight he ‘works for us now’. You don’t work for the FBI, you cooperate with them. This organisation is someone else
This show was going so well until they ended up taking a weird turn the last 2 episodes. I felt like the writing was a cop out and just started needing a quick excuse to start killing off main characters or making them irrelevant. Also I don't think Thresher would just walk away like that, like that would be the dumbest way for someone as made to be powerful to just leave. Laughable 😂 I really do hope season 3 (if there is one) does a better job.
I do agree. I especially was surprised that they killed off Ming in the last episode and I was expecting the triad to be the main force of contention going into season 3.
He seemed sickened by how easy it was for Ming to kill people. Like Dwight said he's not Underworld or a gangster. He probably saw the writing on the wall that he was next if he didn't give up that part of his business.
It looked like that was some CIA shit and looked like they took him to a cia black site or something. I personally am a fan of this show. Not the greatest but somethin a lil different. Also you keep saying ‘mufia” 😂 it’s pronounced mahhfia. Regardless, nice review
My thoughts exactly, very likely a black site and they will use Dwight to stop a cartel war or something and in exchange help him with connections for his empire.
I don't see Dwight flipping, given everything that has been built about the character for the last 2S's. It would totally go against how Dwight is and I can't see Sly betraying that in S3.
Nop, Bevelaqua is not the rason for Dwights arrest; the FBI is corrupted and Tresher has links to them, since Dwight took Tresher's assets Tresher raised the Gobernment against Dwight; Bevelequa would fall as a colateral damage.
As nobody really knows. I'll throw my thoughts out. Obviously, Dwight ain't no rat. So any partnership has to accept that. Any government agency will know he won't roll. So partnership obviously is on his terms. He works for them, has to be on his terms... So to my theories. Ming warned Dwight he wasn't like others, you can't just kill me. I'm thinking legit family in triad leadership abroad. Fbi wanted Intel because they knew ming was taken out and triad will respond. Cia and Fbi can't go to war against triad, but Dwight with help from 3 letter agency Intel might just survive retaliation. And Dwight may not be an informant, but he ain't gonna protect the triad or warn them. 3 letter agencies are duty required to provide warning of threat against one's life. So many reasons to feed Intel.. and claiming something works for you, when you really just giving them info... gives some protection for Dwight to solve their problems for them. I'm thinking so something up that line. I think thresher knew ming had ties to triad and left so easily, cause he knew not to stick around. Likely running from triad anyways with letting his triad partner die.
Can’t get thru the Season 2 finale. They paint Dwight’s character as being cleverer than everyone else, and smart enough to know that he needs to cooperate more to avoid war, but the SECOND someone reaches out with an olive branch he just tells them to go f**k themselves. It’s like the homework assignment was to show us a very savvy mob guy, but the actor keeps going to stereotypical wise guy.
ESPECIALLY following The Penguin, which is so good that I instantly rewatched it after the finale. S2 Tulsa King seriously feels like it was written by ChatGPT.
Stallion knows how to make a good movie/show no woke shit just entertainment his acting always on point.
I don't know how the FBI is supposed to get Dwight to cooperate, when the man isn't a rat and refused to talk for 25 years
IF FBI they just get a warrant these guys who kidnaped Dwight is CIA black Ops

Wow, Chickie went out that fast.

I doubt Thresher is gone so easily.
Probably yes because actor may not come for season 3

Chickie got Ming'd
Shortest season finale ever. What a buzz kill.
Chickie...!! Wow. That was easy.. 😮
He reminded me of George "The Animal" Steele.. 😂
I was kinda surprised it was too sudden 😅

CIA doesn't operate inside the US , another intel agency would make more sense.
The ending when he said " You work for us now" that was tresher if you hear his voice!
Tresher is behind this.
Doesn’t make any sense can’t be

If he starts cooperating that is going too be a turnoff of the series for me.
True, series should not include FBI and all, we want gangsters story
