Paracelcus keeps coming up in stages of my life. I did not know that he was not well liked, but it seems to me that it makes perfect sense. Ruffling feathers and speaking ones truth, in any day and age, never goes down well with the "so called fabric of society". Great contributors to humanity and its forward movement, like Paracelcus, never seem to get any adulation or recognition, until after they have long been dead and buried.

If by brew you mean alcohol and not a brew of medicine, actually, in our time there is an alcoholic recovery center named after Paracelsus. I just looked it up. They use a spectrum of treatment for alcoholism, including, as most treatment centers do, nutrition. Many/most alcoholics suffer from high insulin levels, so they need to stay away not just from alcohol but from sugar. Paracelsus said everything is a poison, and, in a real sense, I believe he was correct. Even drinking too much water can kill a person.
