Nice job mate. Glad you guys are enjoying your travels and the Snowy is performing great. We are planning a big lap in March next year with our Snowy SR20 and your comments about the sink door are correct. Ours fell off on our last trip and I was wondering what to do... now I know. All the best.
We have a 100amp Renogy Lithium Battery which has worked excellently. The torsion suspension is OK but is pretty rough on the cabinetry ect. I have found it helps considerably to drop 15PSI out of the tyres and drive slow.
I got the same van. I’ve changed almost everything. The oven just needs some heat resistant rubber strips, I’m disappointed about the window frames everyone of them cracked!!!! Lights in the hatch failed. All the furniture is made of Chinese plywood (compressed chip board) and that suspension has only 2 inch travel, that’s why you need 15 psi or less. And!!!! 3 tubes of silicone so far. Me personally would never buy another!!!! My fridge has the same mod, don’t forget to take out the plug for the fridge water waste. SR forgot. I could write pages of fixed issues. It’s ok now after loads of fixing.
Do you wish you bought a similar priced Australian made semi off road van, such as a new age adventurer? I hear they have cruisemaster crs2 independent suspension and go for 80k with bunks. I only have 80k to spend and everything is 100k plus these days.
Is that a 2500kg towing prado or 3000kg? I have a 2500kg prado and looking at 18ft snowy but worrying about the ATM and how well it actually ties at full ATM

Thanks for the video, we have put the renogy 50amp in our src22f and will follow your lead with the table shelves and diesel heater.
Hi Gday mate, Thanks also for the video.
What brand of Diesel heater did you get. ? And did you buy it in line or in store.
Cheers: Jeff
What battery set up do you have? How did the torsion bar suspension cope with the corrugations? We have a SR18 and looking forward to travelling WA.
