    How about tougher penalties for fleeing in a vehicle. Make it an instant felony.

      He should get vehicular manslaughter as well

      Resisting law enforcement with a vehicle already is a felony in Indiana.

      How about don’t bring stop sticks to a car fight !! ?? 😵‍💫

    The more aggressive the policy, the better. The longer the prison sentence for fleeing, the better. There is no debate.

    You could see the lil bastard purposely hit that trooper and should suffer the same fate.

    How do you classify a high speed pursuit to de-escalating?

      Nighthawk makes a great system for stop sticks it's in a box open it up walk away press of button it deploy in 2 seconds and retracts just as fast by a press of a button.

    When you deploy stop sticks you shouldn't be like out in the opening so you not a target as easy like have patrol car as a buffer or something

    A Washington State trooper laying out strips/ spikes on 1-5 in Lewis county near Centralia Washington killed by suspect vehicle a couple of years ago. Troopers need to review their policy and procedures Regulation Manual on this. RIP troopers.

      I can do better than 5 years ago, this is the 2nd time this year an ISP trooper has been killed trying to put out the Stop Sticks.
      It has to do with poor training. If you watch the Stop Sticks video it needs to be deployed long before the suspects car is in view and the trooper is in a safe, inconspicuous place.

      The trooper killed in Washington State was a Young officer. The suspect vehicle killed the trooper. I believe the suspect has a significant learning disability. I believe the suspect had stolen a small amount of Money from Walmart. I do NOT believe the suspect was armed. The news channels in Seattle, only report to citizens, what is authorized by the government. However , citizens can request under Public records request a copy of some of the investigation when it is completed.

      @@dezznutz3743don't worry it will happen again next month. They do not care one bit about the citizens safety. It's all ego driven cops that will chase over any traffic infraction! It's ridiculous maybe next meeting time 2 of em get hit and then they will change policy

    He was trying to protect us from someone who stole a vehicle in another state. Sounds like this Trooper got the Darwin Award.

    If someone stole my car I wouldn’t want anyone chasing and getting hurt or risk their life for a car

    Don't pursue, pick up the stolen car later and fingerprint the car and catch the criminals later.

    • @dezznutz3743
      @dezznutz3743 Рік тому +2

      Complete fail by ISP here. The stolen car is completely totaled and a trooper is dead.
      Do you hear fake news calling them out for this, or the Superintendent admitting to their failures? NOPE and NOPE

    • @liberalismisaids9564
      @liberalismisaids9564 Рік тому

      Yes it’s the cops fault and not the criminals 😂 the failure lies with the culture that thinks not raising your kids and not having any respect for the lives of others is an endearing quality , the same culture fails no matter where you put them or how many excuses you make for them
