My favorite part of my summer routine is being awake in the morning before my kids get up, and sipping my coffee in the quiet house. It anchors my day, because as an introvert with 4 kids, quiet recharges me. It helps me be a better mom when they wake up. 😉

Then I work until lunch. Grab some food or popcorn or something. Work through lunch doing documentation. See my afternoon clients. Try to stay awake. Drink some gross hospital coffee. Finish my sessions. Type the remaining documentation. Go to my car and head home. Sit on the couch and play on my phone to try and avoid acknowledging how cluttered and gross my house is. Take care of my pig, chickens, and cat. Grab some fast food or something for dinner because I always plan to cook but never do. Then I shower and go pass out in bed 😂

n a d e e n try tea bags after they've been used! You can keep them in your fridge for a day or so. The tannins in the tea are good for the bags, the caffiene tightens up your skin, and the coolness of the damp tea bag has the same effect as cucumber slices! Plus, drinking more tea will keep you hydrated, which couldn't hurt 😁
