If you've got the stones, you can order up their massive Aggakaga challenge; a giant egg cake containing forty eggs, topped with roasted pork flesk and lingonberries. The meal costs 385kr but if you can finish it inside an hour, you get it ON THE HOUSE as well as a spot on their wall of fame!

Cheeky midweeker for you folks! Hope you’re all doing well and thanks as always for coming back…
Today it’s the third and final episode from Sweden and we’re eating something with slightly rude sounding name.
Hope you enjoy it and I’ll be back Sunday at 7pm!
*Currently somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean so I’ll get involved in the comments when I get the chance ❤
😂😂
Asked this before but don't think you saw it before. You gonna have a fan meetup in sweden?
Loving it along with the Podcast ❤
sure dolph lundgren has conquered this challenge once or twice. they just didnt want to drop his name.
a weekday ting. yes yes, thanks man
when Beard doesn't want a dessert, you know it's serious
he didnt want one for the meatball challenge either and he made that look easy.
When he’s got a few challenges close together he doesn’t bother.
Literally what I was thinking 😂
It's the nervous laugh it cracks me up it's a dead giveaway he knows he's in for a working
That isn't dessert
I love that you're doing the voice-over, it proves that you didn't die from eating that much.
😂😂😂
not yet atleast
The day Mrs Beard does the voiceover, we know we are all in trouble!
@@Beardmeatsfood Are you Irish?
FORTY EGGS? Insane.
I love the fact that you’re not just spending your time in Stockholm as most people do when experiencing Sweden. Our country has loads of history and with that, loads of different cuisines in different regions. 👍🏼😊
Helt rätt. Stockholm är en helt annan Värld, ingen vill på riktigt vara där. Borta bra med Skåne bäst.
As someone from Stockholm, I agree 🤣
@@lukaslilley9917not going back to stockholm what a shame the things the government did to ruin this beautiful country 🤦 my aunty lives in Kumla
any recommendations?
I’ve always wanted to visit Hedestad because if Stieg Larsson
I think if Beard had a humongous servings of Palt, real salted pork, cubes of butter and lingonberries he would understand the Swedish definition of "Palt coma"
he should come to Piteå and give it a go
Mr. Beard! Please come to Japan soon, as Japan has a huge range of different food challenges, ranging from eating endless kilograms of food to speed challenges to super spicy stuff etc., you’d absolutely love it here! I’m a professionally translator and interpreter so I have you covered for the language barrier too!!! Please consider it!!
Yes pls
Second that
Sounds amazing! Please, do it, Adam!
Indeed
Spicy stuff seems to be his kryptonite. Along with mushrooms.
As a Swede I can say that the Stockholm list is almost like being called a Londoner when you're not from or don't like London.
People in Norway say the same thing about Oslo...
People in Canada would say the Toronto list😂
As a Dane I laughed out loud when he said Stockholm list, it's funny how Skåne is still holding a grudge :-)

When that guy said "the second half is coming" I spewed my beer onto my keyboard lol!
Lol, “the other half is coming”, love it! Nice work, the struggle was real.
Swede here, glad to see you touring other countries and beating their challenges :D
More amazing that he's in my tiny childhood town :D My jaw dropped when he said Ystad.
Aren't to happy he's touring our country and beating our challanges...?
What's the cake called? It made me sooo curious
if you look up äggakaka or scanian egg cake you should find it.@@NotForgott
@@NotForgott "äggakaka"
A normal recipe for äggkaka adjusted to 40 eggs:
40 eggs
1.4 L of wheat flour
3.4 L of whole milk
Äggkaka isn't an omelette but a really egg heavy pancake batter. You get full instantly whenever you eat it. It's crazy that you were able to do it.
I am from Malmö and äggkaka is my favorite to make every Thursday it is such a savoury and delicious meal with the fläsk and lingonberries but that monster äggkaka really takes the price for sure
Considering the eggs and the milk, this dish is probably close to 400g of protein. Which is a massive amount. I'm not surprised he struggled, and seriously impressed that he finished!
Taking the thread starter's numbers the batter alone comes at 10k kcal, including approximately 500g pf protein and 350+ g of fat 😆
Not even mentioning the pork nor the allmighty lingerberries. Haha
How many eggs are there in a normal portion for ordinary human beings?
3-4 would be pretty normal@@RobertClaeson
Respect! Was living in Ystad for many years until November 2022, close (100 meter) to Bryggeriet, and that is one of the finest place in Ystad, if not the very finest. Möller is the best Chef in Skåne. Now must subscibe to your channel, and follow your tours. :)
When I’m feeling down I always come and watch a couple of your videos. Thanks for just being yourself and putting out great content. 🙇🏻♀️
i dont think i've seen him struggle this much since the pancake challenge
I thought this would be another pancake challenge too!
I looked it up. the description was "like a pancake, but fluffier". .... its amazing he finished!
This dish is really "rich" and you dont need much to feel full. /from a Swede
Always go back to the half eaten pancake struggle 😂😂
My thoughts exactly!
As an American myself, it's neat to see Beard tackle some more rarely showcased cuisines. Very cool.
No one cares you're American, dunno why you lot feel the need to tell people
Great video Beard! That looked delicious, but the way you described as a custard, it must’ve been so rich. Great job!
Thanks for sharing!!!
I live about 20 mins from that town and i love their food, really cool to see a video about this place.
Love how Adam is basically saying throughout the whole thing that it’s disgusting, but in a really polite way
Lol at the end when he said "that was good, enjoyed that" he was LYING 😂
Yeah I don’t think he really enjoyed 😅😂 glad he got it down
The eye roll at the start gave it away.
Yea it kinda looked like 40 overcooked eggs😂
"It's definitely different!"
As a swede, these last couple of videos really make me happy to see. This one in particular, since this is one of my favorite dishes😋
Glad you like them!
Same, this dish looks so increadibly tasty
Det blir äggakaga till helgen där hemma!
Very different. I love your videos. I absolutely enjoy the way you interact with those around you.
"Nobody uses decilitre" Me, a Swede, googled that and just got a reality check. Basically only Scandinavia and a few European countries that uses decilitre! Had no idea.
wait really??? that's so surprising to me, i thought it was commonly used all over the world
Well in Germany we learned that it exists when learning how to calculate different measurements but yeah we don’t really use it
It's a base part of the metric system. Just just like a decimeter but for liters instead of meters.
If people commonly use it is another thing ofc.
You know it’s a good day when beard uploads!!!
Yes agree 👍 whoop whoop
That dish looks delicious 😋 too!
@@mikemann1960 Yeah I know all of his videos make me hungry lmao
Damn right!!!
As a fan from Sweden, I've really been enjoying these last couple of videos!
And I'm glad we managed to give you at least one tough challenge, and equally glad you managed to push through!
That's what I was about to say too! I'm glad Sweden made Adam huff, puff and sweat to succeed with this one 😂
Thanks mate, cool to do something different
Just discovered your channel so binge watching & loving it !!
Yorkshire myself 🍻👌
I'm so happy that we, as I'm a Swede, could at least put you up to a challenge. As you self said, I thought it was gonna be a "Cake walk" for you.
😂❤
0:50 I don't know why, but I like when you say that.
12:20 I was thinking about Gaston while you were in the middle of eating!
That little place looks very quaint. Nice video!
Awesome to see you in Sweden!! Been following you for a very long time, but never thought you would visit my country for some challenges! Keep up the great work with entertaining content!!
Super dense and super rich. And whipped up in a Gravitational Singularity Kitchen! I don't like to see anyone suffer, but I have to say it is nice to see that there are still some food challenges out there which are actually a challenge for a Seasoned pro like Adam. Seeing him start to struggle so early into a challenge is eye-opening and says a lot about what he is up against. Amazing as always and so glad that I don't have your job, I am quite certain this one would have wrecked me in about three bites!
Yeah this is way harder than it looks
I love your pause and blank stare when the proper names are recited in Swedish. Your response of "Right" got a vocal yelp from myself, as well as several other exchanges. This one had me laughing the most. Got to say, i wasn't sure if you were going to finish this baby. Well done sire, a yeoman's effort.
😂😂😂❤
props my man! this is one of the best vids
Adam this is like months in a row now I’ve watched your videos! Always the go to when I am eating and want something to watch! Keep it up!
A bonus Thursday video?
That “not bacon” looks fantastic 🥓
Just be thankful it’s not vegan “not bacon” 😀
I think "flesk" literally means "flesh", so definitely not vegan lol!
@@AlasdairThompson "fläsk" (or the fun writing in the local dialect, "flesk") - is litteraly just our name for "pork"
I've had it. It's addicting for any lover of pork. Wish i had it here in the states 😂

You really powered through with this challenge. Great determination and a fun video to watch, especially seeing how much of a surprise it was for you!

That was impressive!
I love a good 6 egger, 40 is just bananas, well done sir.
And happy new yrear!
“That was good man, I enjoyed that” haha. So british! You did not enjoy that! 😂
Thought the same thing. Spent most of the video describing why it's not enjoyable and then says that. Ha.
"That kitchen must be a gravity singularity. This is so heavy." That is why everyone loves the Beard!
It's also gobbledygook and doesn't relate to it being 'heavy' outside of the kitchen, in fact the opposite.
This sort of regional food is what keeps me coming back to this channel.
your a cool guy thank you for posting your eating accomplishments on youtube i find it really good to watch. Cheers man lots of love from me
Dude! You actually had the meat sweats not even 10 minutes in!
That just tells me how hard and legit this chanllenge is.
Great freaking job Adam, as always!
*egg sweats
Those little ovums go hard.
@@ImBarryScottCSS True
He did polish off all the "bacon" early on. The egg was really just filler at that point.
Adam himself has said the meat sweats are a myth
@@videostash413 I and a number of friends have experienced it from eating meat. Stoners with munchies over eating was more than a kilo of BBQ meat each.
Classic Skåne food! Use to be fed this in school in the eighties, but that was an enormous portion! Well done!

Yeah, that thing could easily have fed a class of 4th graders.
The Stokholm list is also a classic Skåne thing lol. But as always you sweet people from Skåne is always welcome in København :)
@@larsmathiesen8999 I guess a Stockholmslista is something we could do all over sweden - even here close in Uppsala..
Is it just eggs or a mix of something?
It's eggs, milk, wheat flour and salt, for the egg part!
Fläsk is basically sliced porkbelly that's not cured it's just fried with salt and peppar, we have it as a condiment to things like Blodpudding and the likes! :) So happy you did Sweden that's awesome! edit: South of Sweden usually does not have Swedish sodas, Portello and Trocadero is

SKÅNSK ÄGGAKAGA hahaha. I never thought i'd hear that on this channel. Great video :D
That looked super dense. Good job finishing it.
Man, you could see Adam really starting to sweat about 12mins in. That look of dawning realization of how difficult this will be 😂 Legend!
I know you go at odd times of the day but these places are always eerily quiet. Gives the videos a bizarre but enjoyable feel
Going for the fizz before 10 minutes, you knows it’s serious for Beard!
i really like the intro - its good to have some back ground to what you do!
One must always drink milk to äggakaka (its a regional food in soutest part of Sweden).
This is my recipe on eggcake, it gives 2 portions for a normal person.
4 eggs
3 tablespoons of sugar
a pinch of salt and pinch of bakingsoda
2 dl flour
5 dl milk
1 dl cream
Mix it all together and let it stand for 30 min (this is what my father says, but probably no need)
Then you fry it in a pan, make sure it doesnt burn, when it starts to settle in the bottom/middle, then you have to flip it around using a plate, so the top also get fried in the pan.
I usually use bacon for it, but "fläsk" is the choice when eating it at restaurants and so on.
I've seen people get the "meat sweats" before, but this is the first time I've seen the "egg sweats" 😂😂💜
Eggs are one of my favorite foods but egg sweats sounds SO FRICKIN GROSS 😂 And he totally had them
What is egg if not liquid chicken? Technically meat I reckon.
You weren't kidding he was sweating eating that eggy monstrosity. I bet he won't be eating eggs for awhile. 😅
“The second half is coming” 😂 I like that guy
mad respect for finishing that one bro
alot of places have a swedish softdrink called trocadero. you should ask for that
A beardy bonus? Yes please!
This is the very first time I've witnessed Beard visibly endure the protein sweats. Good work, mate. Also, the look on the woman's face when he said your time was priceless.
😂 thanks bud
Hell yeah! As a fellow scanian fan I'm glad to see you represent our provincial dish, the äggakaga
I like how you can tell he is not really enjoying it but doesn’t want to be rude to the hosts
Well done, mate. That was a really hard challenge. I usually only eat like 200 grams of æggekage and it's dense enough to keep me full for at least half a day. That was a massive undertaking 🤣
Wtf are you a 12 year old school girl? 200 grams of food is nothing haha.
Movie of the day:
Cool Hand Luke
(The egg scene).
Not quite the same but you get the point.
"No man ever eat 50 (40) eggs"

"Fläsk" is old and traditional here in sweden, and for anyone who dont know, 1 slice of fläsk is like 3 slices of bacon.. its really dense.
I asked on the first Finland video for more traditional challenges, and you delivered! Great job 👍

4:20 Deciliters is probably the most common way to measure volume in Swedish kitchens. We're weird that way it seems.
No, the UK and US is weird.
There are 195 countries in the world and 3 of them officially use imperial. The UK use a mixed system for some reason so we’re not the weird ones.
Yeah I know about the imperial weirdness, that worm infested aborted fetus of a measuring system is an abomination for sure.
My point is that even among the metric countries measuring in deciIiters is rather uncommon. Measuring in liters or milliliters is far more common.

I've done 40 eggs before but that was without any filling, no cheese, only onions. But this looks like another beast entirely. Eggs despite how small they look when cooked, will fill you up way more than chips/fries. Props to Beard who's a greater monster for finishing this
Yeah, you'd have to add 1kg/2lbs+ of wheat flour to that as well as 3.5 litres/6 pints of milk. And that's excluding the pork 😮
