- AU explanation:
- Wei Wuxian and Nie Huaisang are childhood friends, they met whenever they were able to but they always wrote to each other, they we’re dating since they were 14, wwx told Nhs he’s able to get pregnant & that he wanted to wait until marriage.
- Nhs sees that both Lan Zhan & Wei Wuxian have feelings for each other so he talks to Lan Zhan, giving him some time to sort his feelings before he either tells wwx he doesn’t/does like him. When Lwj confessed his feelings to wwx, both lwj & nhs started to date wy. (Not each other)
- They elope & wwx gets pregnant with twins, he gives birth a few weeks before the golden core transfer, he was extremely weak but during that time his energy started changing, when he’s thrown into the burial mounds the change was complete, he now had access to both resentment & mana, his eyes were permanently changed to red, only Nhs, lwj & the kids see it due to an illusion.
- Lwj raised both children, Lan Yuan & Lan(Nie) Liang at Gusu bc Nhs was afraid of what his brother would do if he found out who the children’s mother was/is.

- After everything is settled & the husbands reunite, they later announce their marriage to their clans. Lxc was happy for his brother but Lan Qiren was angry but couldn’t do anything bc he’s been married for over 15 years.
- 6 years later, everything is going good, wwx is pregnant (13 weeks) with nhs’s child, he didn’t know about the pregnancy yet.
- During a night hunt with lwj & his children, wwx was ambushed by a girl that’s obsessed with lwj, he was st**bed close to his stomach.
- wwx’s body was weakened & he didn’t have much access to his mana or resentment due to the pregnancy so he didn’t see it coming, his body shut down & went into a deep sleep to heal from the injury.
- Lwj & Nhs tried everything to help heal the injury, try to wake him up but nothing worked, they placed him in a secured tower that had all sorts of protections. They visited him as often as they could.
- Wwx awoke nearly 100 years later, remembers being st**bed & decides to find out why his body shut down, he realizes that he’s pregnant & his body went into a healing sleep to heal & protect both himself & his baby. Looking around he notices a thick layer of dust in the room he’s in which means no one has come to visit him in a long time.
- wwx leaves the tower & goes to the impure realm, to look for his husbands & children, he gets there to see that his children are now adults with children of their own, he looks around some more to finds his husbands & realizes that they got married to each other & are very happy together.. while he always wished that they got together as well, he wanted to be there when they did but he’s happy that they’ve had each other while he was asleep.
- Wwx watches from the shadows for awhile then leaves to find someone that can gather the information that he needs. The person tells wwx that he was pronounced dead after being asleep for 10 years, that nhs & lwj married each other 75 years ago.
- Wwx decides not to ruin the happiness that they’ve found together so he leaves, settles down elsewhere, gives birth to a son who he gave the last name Castielo, he raises him, trains him & when he’s grown with a child of his own, wwx leaves again.
- Wwx still visited his son prior to going into another sleep. (His son lived longer)
- Athy knows about Lucas’s past & she told him everything she remembers from hers as well, she doesn’t mind that he’s bisexual, was married or that he’s had children before.
- Wwx hid the fact that he’s able to have children bc he was afraid Madam Yu will try to get rid of him by marrying him off to the highest bidder, he was also scared that Jiang Fengmian might try to get him to marry Jiang Cheng to ensure the clan has a heir.
- Wwx was born with mana but it was locked by his parents who knew if something were to happen to them, someone (Her adoptive mother or her martial brother or JFM.) would go looking for wwx & they didn’t want anyone to see that he has a different energy besides the golden core that he’d eventually develop.
- Nhs & Lwj at first got married bc their clans kept trying to get them to marry different people bc their husband was pronounced dead, they decided to marry each other & they eventually did fall in love but miss wwx a lot & kept waiting for him to wake up, they visited him up until 2 months before he woke up, due to an increase of ghosts/ghouls, etc. in the area, they were often called to deal with it. Nhs was the first to visit wwx but found him gone, he sent out people to search but they always came back with nothing, they realize he left instead of going home.

@@World_w1de I ship sangxian so i just put the ship in there as well and made up a bunch of stuff to fit the AU, but i also added in wangxian as well.
- If your confused about how Wei Ying had twins with different fathers? it’s possible if someone sleeps with 2 people during the same time or same day.
- If it’s how he’s able to hide his pregnancy, it’s bc he used illusions.
- It’s all an au, none of it should be taken seriously lol i just wanted to make a video with sangxian as a ship so i made one.
