LISTENING POST is poetry about standing watch on MUTTERS RIDGE in Vietnam. TheBikingDude spent a lot of nights on Mutters Ridge and places like it. Listening Post, LP, ambush... Many nights were spent with the expectancy of great trepidation... and trepidation. Believe it or not... you can hear banana trees grow... particularly toward morning. Dew causes expansion and the leaves "creak" as they expand.
