Don’t let this distract you from the fact that on April 29, 2021, in the video titled “Copper to Diamond: Can I Snipe With This Shotty? - Rainbow Six Siege” at 13:22, Varsity shot the Gonne-6 at a default cam on Chalet and missed.

@@avosy I play on controller and pc, so every gun is always different on each platform. I'd prefer to use my controller on pc since they make it so much easier to control recoil.
at 30:03 one reason that he could be looking at 90 instead of holding any specific position is to center his sight between all openings. I catch myself doing this sometimes, it may not be the smartest thing but sometimes it happens.
@@PersonHuman-xf9rt Yeah, I'll do that in games where there are several entries into a room. Sure, you aren't holding any corner well, but it's easier to aim from the center than trying to flick from across the room if you don't know where they might come from.
One thing to note is that despite being able to see everyone through walls in replays, you will never be able to know how teammates are calling out and whether or not they are on cams when specifically focused on person. 47:40 is a place where I noticed this, as the Kaid had been holding that specific angle for a while. Not at the moment he peaked and went for the upside down guy, but if you watch back that was Kaid’s main angle for that round. It’s not out of the realm of possibility to assume Kaid either got shot or saw him upside down and called it out. The person was still cheating- but this is just the point where I had the epiphany that teammates and their callouts play a big factor as well
You should use your own match once when you have a lot of suspicious moments and give yourself a ton of benefit of the doubt so that chat cries out that they're obviously cheating... that first guy, i've used that angle before... when the bombs are downstairs, ppl breach there a lot of the time, to use the stairs to get angles into the site, so that's one of the places i specifically defend
If you notice, Hog and Jilter are togethor alot throughout the rounds leading me to believe they are qeued togethor. So him holding balcony until he got a 3 piece was probably because Jilter called them out on cams before it was shot out(if they ever were).
same thing with thorn i noticed that he may be getting callouts from the way he holds angles around where they are without exactly knowing when they are gonna peak

First off thanks for the reviews and work finding cheaters. I also wanted to mention that I have watched hi end players call out exactly what people are doing based off sound and call out where they will show up etc. Most notably Jynxzi and you even lol, who I think we can all agree are not cheating. This guy in the clip seems to be clearing all corners all angles not just running to the kills. As far as the Mira spray if you watch him pop the door in the previous segment he does about the same spray not across. Sometimes I think there are just players having good days. Year 3 siege was definteily not best siege, it had Release Lion. Year 1 had release Blackbeard. Year 2 did have release Ela, but compared to BB and Lion, she was pretty tame.
For the time period and metas, LION was CRAZY omg+the Jackal and Blitz buff combo was too much. The only reason I would put Ella on a high tier problem to siege was bc she literally was kitted the perfect kit and had Rook+Doc at her side. She literally would have 2 OPS to make her OP 😭😭😭😭😭I will never forget playing a game on boarder where you do the runout near the tank. She had extra health from the Doc and plates from rook meaning she can take an extra 1-2 right? Within the 1st 5 seconds of the round istg I kid you not. It was 4-1 ops…Ella wiped 4/5 of my mates including me 🥹🥹🥹 I never wanted to cry more on being rekt bc I told my own mates to ban her but “we paid for the season pass 🥺”

6:07 Late year 3, early year 4 was my personal favorite time in Siege. Everything just felt so good. Until phantom sight came around. Don't get me wrong, phantom sight wasn't bad, but it wasn't nearly as good as I remember Burnt Horizon being. I also feel that it really started the trend were seeing today, with ubi getting lazier & not releasing much new content, since PS was the first season without any new guns to come with the new ops. I understand why they did it, but it doesn't mean I didn't like it.
after all the years ive play siege yesterday i ran into my first ever hacker. Unless there was people silent hacking before but this dude ran in and headshots everyone without aimin in or nun
35:10 is my account. Used to have 400+ games a season being my main game years ago. Now the game is actually insufferable to play. You don't touch the game for 9 months and your first game back is a 5 stack boosting champ stacks while my teams sucking on their joysticks. It's genuinely aids now to play especially on console.
The first games will sky rocket your Ranked RP gains into your actual placement. I have experienced playing with two sets of friends. One group experienced and the other not so much. At the start I had big RP gains per win. After games with the less skilled players and losing many matches my gains are significantly less than my experienced friend. My k/d in ranked is 1.4 and my experienced friend is 1.2. The experienced friend has not played a rank without me. His RP gain per win is in the 50s while mine is in the 20s. I am now Bronze 3 and he is Gold 4. Smurfs need to just lose the first idk 10+ games and the account will be locked in around silver/high bronze.
It’s not fair tho this is my first ranked season and I’m in plat and I go against champs and diamonds all the time I played 14 matches and hit bronze my previous szn this is the first time I grinder ranked since I’m level 87 so I always go against crazy good players😔
As someone who doesnt play siege regularly but does get accused of cheating, playing one game or even abandoning that match because, this game aint it, isnt suspicious. the crowd for siege is a cesspool, i dont like hearing all the immature team mates and the lack of skill being nurtured by the lack of dignity and responsibility of your own actions. basically, most ppl suck and dont know how to improve, so instead they repeatedly play this game hoping theyll catch a cheater to feel better about their lack of wit. Unlucky.
ive played one game a season before, and it was me checking to see if the game feels any better, get wrecked by smurfs, see that nothing is fixed, and promptly uninstall the game from my console and try again next time i think of the game
I remember way back in the TWL days, I got caught for cheating and was really upset I let my team down turns out they asked what cheat I was using and I came back under a different alias using a undetected one & it was free at the time. Cheating is more rampant & has been than we all would like to believe. Not proud by any means it's just a reality.
Tbh guy on the villa game may be walling, but to be fair it took me 2 months of siege to reach plat 2 in ranked 1.0. 1 month stuck in silver 1. Next season I watched a lot of diamond/champ gameplay, tips and tricks and found a in quickmatch then just started ranking up the next season with my 5 stack with a 1.2 K/D.
22:28 I don't really agree with that statement that pros don't aim through the wall cuz if they know someone is there it's much more beneficial to aim through the wall and swing to reduce as much mouse movement as possible, in contrast to tracing the door frame and needing to correct the aim after seeing the person
First match was me btw. Was playing on my alt w some friends from work and they are pretty dogshit so went on an alt I haven't used in like a year. Plus it was a drunk sesh so I didn't really care
Tbf for the second guy when he was aiming at ash on repel through the wall, me being a 300 hours siege player would do what he did. Knowing the map I’m going to pre aim the guy on repel since he was not seen at the first little window on the balcony. To me it’s kind of like pre aiming someone’s angle
im only emerald on PC EU region, but i play against full on rage hackers 1/4 matches or so (without exaggerating) and who knows how many closet hackers ive played against. Its sad to see siege in such state, its a very fun game.
Ubisoft Has lost all my respect for them entirely. I feel like they don't care about who plays their game aslong as they are making money. I feel like the cheater problem has gone too far at this point. And them refusing to do a Siege 2 with a proper engine is crazy imo.
I remember doing the hiding under the desk strat. I use to be good at R6...... till i took a Capitao arrow to the knee in year 3 and now im on my comeback!
I had a match yesterday with a buck walling the whole time was so noticeable. Instantly without droning he would run straight in to anyone roaming and headshot them. So stupid too with them acting like they wont get caught
people have lives... I've probably had siege for like 6 years and I've only played ranked a lot of times for like a couple months then i stopped, and recently have done it a couple times since. i really only do quick match and i can play once or twice and then not play again for months
I need answers i stopped playing siege for 3 seasons came back this season and my first game back i was facing champ players in copper, the highest ive got is diamond 3 with a 1.9 kd the last season i played
I think most of the chat forgets that you're supposed to watch these people under the assumption that they are not cheating and let them show you that they are.
I bet the 2nd guy plays a lot of console siege, so he'd play PC siege occasionally, then finally switched when his stack decided to switch too. Also I don't find him aiming at 90 weird, I do it too, the fact that there was 2 people standing right in that spot twice is like one in a million.
The overuse of the term "pre fire" and misunderstanding of what it is leads to a lot of accusations against people who do an actual pre fire from intel. 57:35 and 57:45 aren't pre fires. He peaks and then shoots, a pre fire is the dead opposite. Pet peeve at this point. He definitely knows he's there from walls, I'm not defending anyone or disagreeing with that.
Hiding spots are 1000% the most fun part of the game. Just not due to darkness. We want to be able to give again. That creates creativity on plans. If we're forced to be seen. We're forced to take the gun fight. And if I'm forced seen. I'm not taking the gunfight. I don't cheat. Idk what waiting for me. These last 5 reowrkds have ONLY ruined maps
first guy deff was cheating every time he calls a reaction kill i don't think he understand how some these cheats work they can have a delay time so if they are constantly killing and flicking to a person at the same amount of time and not everyone is blatantly cheat some are good at hiding it he kinda make it sounds like he only cares about blatant cheaters and not those trying to be super suspiceous
35:20 - I do this a lot, naively hoping the community *might* have stopped being shitty. After about 3-4 games I come to my senses and quit again. I won't straight up abandon a game in session though. that's scummy. I should know better though, the only way the community will stop being shitty is when the game is completely dead. 🤷
What about the time when outside lighting was so overturned when looking from inside? That really discouraged spawnpeek and i think it should be brought back.
fair point@@VarsityGaming. thar's what i like about you as a gamer, you have a rational analysis and conclusion for such statements. Goes to show that you think as a game designer as well.
that match 2 guy had a lock on button. the first time he locks on the zero in 90, if you slow it down you can see the lock on perfectly track the guy on 90 and he has to pull off the guy cause he realized he locked on by accident

Unlucky.
Ignored
At this point I'm better at determining whether someone is hacking or not than I am at the game.
"write that down, write that down!"
ive played one game a season before, and it was me checking to see if the game feels any better, get wrecked by smurfs, see that nothing is fixed, and promptly uninstall the game from my console and try again next time i think of the game
Plus it was a drunk sesh so I didn't really care
for the weird match 2 stats maybe he only plays on the free weekends but now owns the game
Match 3 I think the guy is drunk playing 😂😂
Tbf for the second guy when he was aiming at ash on repel through the wall, me being a 300 hours siege player would do what he did. Knowing the map I’m going to pre aim the guy on repel since he was not seen at the first little window on the balcony. To me it’s kind of like pre aiming someone’s angle
I can’t justify anything after that.
im only emerald on PC EU region, but i play against full on rage hackers 1/4 matches or so (without exaggerating) and who knows how many closet hackers ive played against. Its sad to see siege in such state, its a very fun game.
Operation Health was peak siege
Ubisoft Has lost all my respect for them entirely. I feel like they don't care about who plays their game aslong as they are making money. I feel like the cheater problem has gone too far at this point. And them refusing to do a Siege 2 with a proper engine is crazy imo.
Legally speaking..... would the kilter board be a tax write off if you use it for YT/Twitch content?
Use the old intro for a bit of nostalgia
knew the first guy was walling after he flicked to a random guy upstairs at 7:51
I remember doing the hiding under the desk strat. I use to be good at R6...... till i took a Capitao arrow to the knee in year 3 and now im on my comeback!
For the first match me and my friends call this the "No russian" match when doing those ban 😂
"my kapkan spots"
"I think it's weird that someone only plays 14 matches in a year"
You sir are a weirdo.
I had a match yesterday with a buck walling the whole time was so noticeable. Instantly without droning he would run straight in to anyone roaming and headshot them. So stupid too with them acting like they wont get caught
people have lives... I've probably had siege for like 6 years and I've only played ranked a lot of times for like a couple months then i stopped, and recently have done it a couple times since. i really only do quick match and i can play once or twice and then not play again for months
if Ubisoft are complaining about their engine limiting them then they could pull a valve and recreate the game fully in a new engine like cs2.
I need answers i stopped playing siege for 3 seasons came back this season and my first game back i was facing champ players in copper, the highest ive got is diamond 3 with a 1.9 kd the last season i played
first guy def not cheating
I think most of the chat forgets that you're supposed to watch these people under the assumption that they are not cheating and let them show you that they are.
Isn't Extraction using the same engine as Siege?
22:25 this is not always true, I will preaim an angle if I think they are holding it, often times dragging on a corner like that gets me killed.
Man I ran into one yesterday in standard. Didn't think varsity was that serious saying it was so rampant
One in standard is nothing, on average I play cheaters or they’re on my team 4/5 games, it’s absolutely brutal in high elo ranked right now…
@@HollowR6Sbud calm down ur emerald its not that bad in champ
The alibi clip is so funny to me 59:00
remember there is A.I aimbot now that goes off of pixel change and everything so it could be that.
I just played a champ 3 stack with a 310.0 kd with a 100% wr in 200 games, I don’t even know if there is an anti-cheat at this point
But it also made it impossible to combat people holding site or defuser from outside
fair point@@VarsityGaming. thar's what i like about you as a gamer, you have a rational analysis and conclusion for such statements. Goes to show that you think as a game designer as well.
how expensive is a kilter board oO, that's something I'd only expect gyms and millionaires to purchase ://
It would be nice to know which servers these cheaters play on.
The engine for Siege is the same engine as Extraction.
55:05 i play that lIlIlI got often in quickplay and report him each day for sus moves
what's weird is when I play ranked I see people with the name hog rida lol
that match 2 guy had a lock on button. the first time he locks on the zero in 90, if you slow it down you can see the lock on perfectly track the guy on 90 and he has to pull off the guy cause he realized he locked on by accident
Ubi:New Anti-Cheat!
Me:Check the cheater played against over one year ago
NOT BANNED
I think Ubisoft removing hiding spots isnt just bad bc it removee the fun, but it makes tdm meta worse.
What I don’t feel like you’re taking into account is teammate comms or pings, you can’t see them. Obviously some of these guys are cheating but you sometimes can’t tell without the pings or voice comms
59:00 dude tried, good on them, probably auto equipped a skin and forgot
