My understanding is that the conference schedule next year is the exact same as this year, except that the venues and dates change. UGA plays Texas, Bama, and Ole Miss again but at home, while the UT game is away. Dawgs and Gators will have the toughest schedules again.
Yes I agree we will have the hardest schedule again with new qb hopefully playing in these next few games really helps gunner with the transition I pray he can bring home the natty this year
Texas finished the season with the 15th toughest strength of schedule in college football, season adjusted. Google it. Source: college football network. It will be even higher next year probably, assuming Ohio State finishes higher than Michigan did this year. The lazy trope that “Texas didn’t play anybody” is idiocy. Texas played mostly middle class and upper middle class teams that by and large finished with winning records and bowl games.
@@tullfarley4962 Sure let’s not admit Texas is 0-2 against Top 15 ranked teams. Meanwhile the great SEC teams that were left out of the playoffs were on average 2-1 against Top 15 ranked teams.
OU plays Kent State the week before Texas. THATS a huge UPSET ALERT in that game. OU has always skimped prepping their opponents in the weeks before facing Texas in the RRS. Considering OU will likely have a brand new qb, all their wr’s entered the portal, a new OC who’s mid, I might be betting on Kent State

Texas ended the 2024 season with the 15th hardest strength of schedule in cfb. Source: college football network This is because every SEC conference team they played other than Miss State and Kentucky, made it to a bowl game with at least 6 wins. A solid overall schedule, that they handled with an 11-1 finish.
Take a look at the number of teams who have byes before games. Alabama has four teams with UGA, LSU, OU, and MU all have byes before their alabama game. That means the OU gets an extra week again against Alabama while Alabama is coming off a high LSU game. Talk about another Trap game.
Miss state or Arkansas or Florida- really it all hinges on if the SEC has the same parity as this year. On any given day Kentucky or Vandy could take down a team who’s #1 across the board at every position. I laughed at people who didn’t see it or concerned for their inability to process it.
Can someone tell me why a Top recruit would play in the SEC if they can just go to Indiana or ND and play a soft schedule and still make the playoffs and win 🤔 because the two best teams of the SEC (Bama and Ole Miss) who beat Georgia (the favorite to win the CFP) is not EVEN IN THE PLAYOFFS! Maybe Bama and Ole Miss should LEAVE the SEC and schedule soft games like ND did.
Never been a top recruit, by my honest thoughts are culture, history, and knowing that the development at some of these SEC schools set players up really well for the NFL.
@@Allthathappened141culture and history don’t matter anymore bc you guys begged for NCAA to be more like the NFL. Recruits will go where they can get paid the most and where it is most convenient for them to win. They can also use that money to train without risk of injuring themselves.
Happy Birthday to Mrs. Film Guy!🎉🎉🎉

Arkansas schedule pretty brutal too. At LSU, At Texas and Mizzou to wrap it up is brutal after the middle run of away games.
SEC schedule is just the same as this year with locations flipped right? So another free pass to the SECCG for Texas. 🙄
That being said...4 Blue Blood matchups (or New Blood, depending on what you consider UGA), with none of those matchups at home.

Texas crying about not playing any home games for the month of October is hilarious. News flash Texas fans, you're still playing an easy schedule.
You’re right, the SEC is EASY. Great move for us.

Vandy IMO has the toughest schedule
Oklahoma did have an impact in 2024, though, knocking Bama out of the playoffs.
Happy Birthday to Mrs Chooch

If are a DE at Indiana and your abusing mid level talent vs a DE in the SEC abusing nfl talent. The SEC player could be a number one pick.
@Allthathappened141 sure this explains why LSU lost the top QB prospect to Michigan after Michigan paid him more.

Texas repeats as National champions in 2025 with Arch Manning at QB
