Hello friends! For Thanksgiving we love to smoke a turkey breast roast on the Traeger, glazed sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, rolls, a green salad, and some sort of appetizer like bacon wrapped dates and deviled eggs. We go ice fishing in the morning as a tradition!
Sounds like what I make except I make dressing and gravy too. I also serve Kings Hawaiian sweet rolls. Bacon wrapped dates sounds soooooo yummy. I must try that.
We have a smoker too and have been thinking about doing our turkey on it but I'm worried i won't get the juice needed to do gravy. Do you have that problem?
Ham, Turkey and dressing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed green beans, roasted vegetables, several jello salads, deviled eggs, cherry cheesecake pie, pumpkin pie , chocolate pie and southern jam cake and homemade bread. ,
I love your channel. I don't get why 2 yo vids come up? You're Angel's. God bless you all. Nurse Judi in Scottsdale AZ and Eucharistic Minister. 🙏🏻 many prayers as well!
My family makes a recipe with those crispy onions that we all love: 1 6oz box of chicken flavored rice 1 10oz can cream of mushroom soup 1 8oz container of sour cream 1 whole rotisserie chicken 6oz of French fried onions Preheat oven to 350 F. Prepare rice according to package directions. While rice is cooking shred the chicken. When rice is done add the can of soup and sour cream. Add the chicken and mix together. Spread into a greased 9x13 pan and bake for 40 minutes. Remove from oven, add the onions and bake 5 more minutes and then eat.
Everett is so cute - He is going to watch how he uses his money. The exposure to getting groceries and items is also a teaching tool. Your conversations with Everett are so impeccable. Love the Costco Vlogs - never can get enough.
So...crispy fried onions...I use them as a salad topper but recently, I ran out of bread crumbs and used those in place for both homemade meatballs and meatloaf...really yummy!
I’m so sorry that you don’t have a Costco near you. Thank you so much for watching even though you can’t experience it yourself. I’m grateful you’re here.
I really enjoy when you and Everett goes shopping. He is such a darling. Please don't ever let his samples ran out on him. Watching from Sun shiny Jamaica 🇯🇲 . I am sending some of the warmth to you and family virtually. Bless
Thank you for the warmth, we could use it. We are having a major cold snap. I’m so glad that you enjoyed coming along with me and Everett. Have a wonderful weekend

Here in England there is a limit and shortage on Crisps Binbags chicken sometimes bread. I've started to stock a little after watching your storage video x
Don’t know where you you live in uk but I live down south and I don’t have a problem with anything, certainly not crisps, bin bags, chicken or bread. Even during the last 18 month. Have been able shop’ eat and buy clothes as I always have. Everything I ordered for my family at Christmas last year came through and have already ordered all my gifts and food for a family of 9 without any problems so stop making out we are having problems.

Thank you for the Costco trip. Everett was an exceptional cutie today. And his jacket made the freezer trip much cozier. I have to check out the Traeger. I really want one. Smoke turkey sounds so good. Thanks for showing the tag. You are awesome. I am so much fun in Alaska.
You're welcome Marcella! We really love the Traeger, once of the best things I have bought for Mark. I actually love spoiling him! Have a wonderful week!
For the fried onions, I’m going to try crumble it into smaller pieces and mix with breadcrumbs for a chicken thigh recipe I make often. I think it sounds goods and would add extra flavor.
We always have alot of family over. We make a turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, collard greens and fried cabbage. Plus many desserts!
Hi Lauren, Everett & Luna,This Alaska Life! Your jacket look very nice on you, Lauren! Everett is so cute and smart! The Christmas decoration is nice! I enjoyed watching this shopping haul! We love to eat turkey, ham, sweet potato pies, pumpkin pies, potato salad, green beans, stuffing, collard greens & corn bread, ice tea, sodas, cakes & cranberries! Another great video!
Lauren I am glad to see you didn't buy the Kirkland shirt. They should pay you for advertising for them!!! JK...Peanut butter cheese..lol. Had me laughing. Your shopping habits reminds me of myself when my family was all at home. We canned and froze a lot of our food. As much as we could. Processed our own meat too. I sure do miss it. I did notice in my area our food prices are increasing weekly. Our prices are comparable with yours in Alaska. I live in N Western Pa. Thanks again for sharing & I look forward to your next vlog!
Hello Joni! I don't think I could take myself seriously in the Kirkland shirt! LOL the prices really do seem to be going up! Thank you so much for watching, see you soon!
Very nice haul! My Thanksgiving is the traditional turkey, Han, mashed potatoes, dressing, yams, green bean casserole etc. I always make my moms fresh fruit salad. Grapes, apples, pears, bananas, and canned pineapple , cherries and mandarin oranges. Homemade whipped cream. Yum, brings me back to being a kid.
Everett is the cutest 🥰 I love your shopping trips together and listening to your conversation With each other as you go around Costco’s. Everett, you are so COOL 😎 and so FUNNY 😆
I bought that French door “air fryer” and hated it so much. I returned it. It’s not like an air fryer at all. Other functions were fine, but not worth the money or space it takes up.
Good to know! I think the only reason I would have considered was to just watch Everett's delight opening and closing the door "magic" LOL! Thanks for watching!
Canadian Here, our thanksgiving is in October, we do turkey, stuffing, carrots, squash, beans or peas, cranberry, gravy and desserts . The Crispy onions we use them on burgers too, breakfast casseroles, salades too
I love watching your grocery hauls. Its enjoyable to watch Everett to check everything out .He has so much joy .Have a great day !!I have sweet potatoes dressing pickles salad gravy turkey breast or roasting chicken.pumpkin pie buns.
Anotther great Costco haul! I ove the conversations between you and Everett. He is so polite and honest about what he likes and does not like. A friend of ours purchased joggers for his son which seems to be the new fad for school. They were $59.99 per pair! Lol. My part of the menu for Thanksguving consists of ham, green bean casserole, corn pudding, and pumpkin pie. Stay warm and stay safe! Until next time......❤❤❤
Hello! I am so glad that I found these joggers for much cheaper than your friend. I hate spending a lot of money on kids clothes when they go through them so fast. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, thank you so much for watching!
I am sort of a picky eater, I like simple traditional thanksgiving food. My must haves are turkey, baked macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, corn, and regular stuffing (not cornbread) that’s cooked in the turkey. Also can’t forget pumpkin pie over sweet potato pie.
I love how happy that air fryer door made Everett!! Lol. Golly mom, don't you recognize the mango drum playing??? Lol He is too cute! We usually have turkey, ham, mashed pot., gravy, Mac n chz, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce( gotta be canned), lol we have a big 7 layer salad and broccoli, chz, rice casserole. While the cooking is going on, we have a charcuterie board and several other dips, crackers, etc.. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Happy Thanksgiving Lisa! It is so fun to see what things excite a four-year-old! Your meal sounds amazing. Thank you so much for watching, see you soon
@@ThisAlaskaLife Life is so much more interesting with kids! We have a 13 yr old grand daughter, a 9 year old grandson, and a 3 year old grand daughter. I can not imagine how boring our lives would be without each of them. My Dil passed away a few years ago, so our son and his 2 kids moved back home. Our daughter and her hubby live about an 1/8 mile down the road. (We live in the country, no blocks here), lol. I just can't imagine life without our big crazy family! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Keep up the fun times, Everett!!
Ok so I had a total fit when my husband paid $79 at the time for the Ember coffee mug, however now he can’t use it because I use it every day, lol. It’s amazing especially if it take you a while to drink your coffee.
Hi Friends, Everett has the cutest conversations with you in Costco, l love the way he talks about the prices and spots a bargain, seeing the world through his innocence is just magical. Thankyou for sharing, love a Luna sighting 👍
He is getting so good at spotting the bargains. His true love is the samples and looking at the books. It really is magical seeing the world through his perspective. Thank you so much for being here, we’re so grateful.
Thankyou to everyone in the comments that shared their Thanksgiving foods with us in the Southern Hemisphere, looks like alot of traditional and hearty recipes and they sound delicious 😋
Great Costco haul. I love seeing the different items in a Costco store because we dont have a Costco near us. Our usual Thanksgiving dinner is Turkey , oven roasted , sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes , Potato filling, Crescent and hawaiian rolls, corn, lima beans and cranberry jelly Of course, many desserts.
I don't get to go out much so when you go, I feel like I'm right there with you. Your son makes it fun, I loved when he was checking out the Christmas Village. I loved the village myself, but my favorite was the Merry Go Round! Thank you, Lauren for an awesome video!!! 🌼
Hello! Glad you feel like you are out and about with us. The villiages really were so fun I was tempted to grab one for him. A lady came up and saw how much he was loving it and bought it for her granddaughter! Everett was a good salesman!
Our Thanksgiving always includes roast turkey (hubby is smoking one thus year too), mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes with marshmallows, green bean casserole, cornbread dressing, black olives, pumpkin pie, pecan pie and French silk pie.
Hello for Thanksgiving we usually have a oven roasted turkey and a ham macaroni and cheese ,mashed potatoes green bean casserole, candied yams and vegetable medley
We go to the desert for Thanksgiving, camping and jeeping. We have Turkey and ham but prep in advance. Sandwiches with the leftovers is what I look forward to each year. Try those crispy onions on salads. So yummy. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! 🧡
That was a big haul, and a lot of good deals. Everett think that the crab legs are too much money and I have to agree with him. Thank you for sharing..
my hubby has a su vee at work but he doesn't use it. it cook with the heat of the water best way to describe. if u have food saver n you put left over say stew or soup take pot of water bring to boil n up food saver pack in it n it will reheat said food cut n pour into bowl. same idea
The heated throw blanket...I just bought my husband (technically boyfriend but we been together now since 2009~same as a husband) any whoo I paid $49.97 for the same heated throw... The apple pears are a cross breed, that have a bartlette pear texture blended with a juicy apple taste...they are amazing! (yes they are suppose to have a harder firmness) On a Normal Thanks-Giving dinner year, like last year. Before all bleep broke loose again... we had ham, mashed potatoes & gravy, sweet corn, green beans casserole, crescent rolls with honey butter, deviled eggs, a 7 layer salad, sometimes stuffed celery or lil smokies in BBQ sauce. Then for dessert I make 3 different kinds of cheesecakes (oreo, strawberry & Blueberry) my mom always made the pumpkin roll...and there are usually a bowl of Lindt chocolate balls somewhere in the house for the little's. We have sweet tea or Milo's Lemonade to drink... This year, honetly I couldn't tell you if we are even going to celebrate Thanks-Giving...just thinking about it breaks my heart. I'm scared God is calling my momma home sooner than we all thought...not even sure if she will be here Thanks-Giving this year... Many Blessings to you & your family God Bless
Hello Michelle! I am so sorry you’re going through such a hard time right now. Sending lots of love from Alaska. On a normal year your feast sounds amazing. I love all the personal touches that each family has for their traditions.
Aloha Alaska ohana,(family)! I serve cream cheese stuffed celery at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Add some garlic to cream cheese, as much as you like, spread it into celery that is cut into 5 inches or so, sprinkle some paprika on top, optional, and enjoy. With the fried onions for green bean caserole, use left over in salads, topping for soups or crumple some up in sour cream to top off baked potatoes or to use as onion dip with chips or vegetables. I love watching your videos, they always brighten my day. You have such a beautiful family! Aloha from Kauai.
Enjoyed your costco haul once again and also your smart little sampler for our Thanksgiving this year we had turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing and for dessert pumpkin loafwaiting to see your spread for the holiday, take care till next time!
Hello Christine! We are not hosting Thanksgiving this year so it might look a little different but I plan to bring you all along. Glad you enjoyed coming along!

It does sound really good! I think I am going to do the same when we cook up some halibut! Thanks for wathcing!
We always have alot of family over. We make a turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, collard greens and fried cabbage. Plus many desserts!
Sounds like a proper feast! Happy Thanksgiving!
Hello! I’m so glad that you enjoyed the video.Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you very much, Lauren!
@@ThisAlaskaLife Thank you, Lauren! You've a wonderful weekend to!
The fruit salad sounds wonderful! Happy thanksgiving!!
Add some crispy onion on a burger so yummy😀
I am going to try that soon! Several people have suggested it and it sounds delicious. Have a wonderful weekend
@@ThisAlaskaLife Thank you have a lovely weekend also you can try sprinkle some on some lentil soup its delicious
Everett is the cutest 🥰 I love your shopping trips together and listening to your conversation With each other as you go around Costco’s.
Everett, you are so COOL 😎 and so FUNNY 😆
Yes! Thank you!
I love Everetts imagination. We eat pretty much the same as you but cornbread stuffing is something we have to have. It is my favorite.
Hello Susan! I don't know if I have ever had cornbread stuffing, I am going to have to try it! Thanks for watching!
Everett loves to go to Costco !! Especially all those good samples !! He is so cute !! 😀😀😀
Yes, he sure loves his samples. I am glad you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a wonderful weekend!

Hello Cindy! I am so glad you enjoy coming along. Your meal sound wonderful ! Thanks for watching.
Love Everett's excitement over the airfryer!❤
Love it imagine 2 samples next to eat other. He’s so funny!
His lucky day! Thanks for watching Michelle!
I love your kitty 😺! I have 10 cats! And a big 🐕 dog. I love your hauls with Everett. He is a cutie pie.
Wow! That sounds like a lot of fun having all those cats and a dog. So glad that you like coming along with me in Everett.
All sounds great to me. I lean towards the traditional as well. Thanks for watching!
The Zespri gold kiwis are heaven. Have them when they become soft. I saw them while you guys were in the produce section
We put the crispy onion on hot dogs! It's really popular here in Norway.
OHHHHH good idea! Thanks for sharing!
Ok so I had a total fit when my husband paid $79 at the time for the Ember coffee mug, however now he can’t use it because I use it every day, lol. It’s amazing especially if it take you a while to drink your coffee.
That is too funny! I am not a coffee drinker but I can see the appeal of it staying warm. Have a wonderful weekend
Your son is so adorable thanks for sharing this beautiful video
Thank you so much for watching! We sure love him.
Hi Friends,
Everett has the cutest conversations with you in Costco, l love the way he talks about the prices and spots a bargain, seeing the world through his innocence is just magical. Thankyou for sharing, love a Luna sighting 👍
He is getting so good at spotting the bargains. His true love is the samples and looking at the books. It really is magical seeing the world through his perspective. Thank you so much for being here, we’re so grateful.
"It's magic" the joy that kids get from simple things. I love the Costco hauls we don't have one where I live only Sam's club. Thanks.
Hello Cindy! YES, the doors gave him so much joy! Gotta love it! Thanks for watching!

Our usual Thanksgiving dinner is Turkey , oven roasted , sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes , Potato filling, Crescent and hawaiian rolls, corn, lima beans and cranberry jelly Of course, many desserts.
Hello Shirley! Thanks for watching!

That sounds like a lot of fun! The sandwiches afterwards are my favorite too. Thank you, I hop you have a wonderful Thanksgiving too!
That was a big haul, and a lot of good deals. Everett think that the crab legs are too much money and I have to agree with him.
Thank you for sharing..
I wish the crab legs were cheaper! He is becoming quite the bargain shopper. Have a wonderful weekend
my hubby has a su vee at work but he doesn't use it. it cook with the heat of the water best way to describe. if u have food saver n you put left over say stew or soup take pot of water bring to boil n up food saver pack in it n it will reheat said food cut n pour into bowl. same idea
Thanks for the tips. I think I am going to pass, sounds like something I would never get around to using. Have a great day!
(yes they are suppose to have a harder firmness)
On a Normal Thanks-Giving dinner year, like last year.
Hi Michelle, l love reading your comments and at least l know lm not the only one who writes an essay in the comments 😁 Any whoo your funny😘
Aloha! That sounds like a wonderful feast. Have a wonderful weekend thanks for watching!
PEACE AND BLESSINGS, greens, dressing, ham, potato salad, Turkey, chittlings, sweet potato pie and chocolate cake.
