Not 100% sure what the negative rap around a guy who has such an insane work ethic and keeps improving
Love Sexton and hope Cavs find a way to keep him. But he can be frustrating at times because the ball sticks in his hands and he often misses the open player for the easy assist. I also personally feel like his layup package in traffic could be deeper. Also needs to continue to practice off the dribble 3s because teams will go under on screens and he won’t make them pay enough. But he is a killer in the mid range. His floater game is nice too. He is fantastic in transition. And he is as hard of a worker as there is. Love him as a player. Just wanted to share what I find to be the negative of his game and what is holding him back from being an all star.
His negative from what I’ve seen, is being a high draft pick, playing on a bad team, for multiple coaches. And when your the best player on the team, and your told that we need you to put up scoring numbers, that will undoubtedly take away from your assist numbers, which nowadays is the barometer used to determine if your a true PG. sexton would be better served moving on from the Cavs, and reestablishing his place as a solid PG in this league.

Sexton is a PEST!!!!!!! he's a dirty player like Zaza Pachulia, and he would try to hurt the opposing players, and apparently, he's the most hated player by his own teammates, that must be a hard pill to swallow

Maybe get a trainer who is in shape. And perhaps a practice defender who isn't 5'8"... Just sayin. Also, he needs to cut the knock knee bend on his J. It is a common thing that even Jordan had a bit, but when he corrected it, his J improved.

crazy to me thatpeople carry like its nothing these days. They need to choose if they want it as a rule or not, b/c how they 'enforced' the rule so far make it to where its pretty much only ever called as make up calls or when its not a make up call it looks more like the ref is rigging the game or they have a vendetta against a player
