I am hoping to get a hybrid role, and maybe design my own stuff later...but I am way older than you (+40). I hope it is not too late. Keep up the great content.
Im working in a game dev startup and yeah i am very excited, i can work on broader tasks and have bigger overal impact, just 4 people so obviously everyone needs to work on more things which is cool, but also the fact that everyone is chill about when to work and how much, so i can relate about your excitement

I wonder what the challenge was for you to use a nodejs backend so that you switched to Django. I am currently building a simple expense logging app with react>remix with mongo db through prism. Since I am on remix I am using pretty much nodejs in its loader functions so would like to see If I am missing anything by not going any other way. Thanks for the video. You can get a residency visa easily. Check my video on my second channel. I don't necessarily recommend UAE as a software engineer (unless you work for yourself/freelancing abroad) because tech salaries are low.

Contract jobs typically require around 2 to 3 years minimum experience but they are extremely competitive
